Sunday Share - Wrapped in Plaid??? or Feels Like Frost???

I'm showcasing two of my favourite suites this weekend from our Holiday Catalogue - and I'll let you decide which one is your favourite!
Wrapped in Plaid is a gorgeous suite (I think I have almost all the products!!) and it features traditional colours that coordinate with some of our basics for Christmas - all with a hint of gold woven through the plaids . . I featured it as one of my club cards earlier this month and it was very popular!
We did a #simplestamping card first by punching out a tree image from a piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamping the outline tree on it and then adding it to a 3" x 3" gift card sized base for a quick and easy project.
Then we took the punched piece and built a full size card around it with Gold Glimmer Paper as a background layer - using the same plaid as we used in the mini card. There are 4 sheets each of 12 designs, meaning it's great value for making lots of cards and coordinating envelopes too!
I received this card in a team swap highlighting some of our great ideas in the catalogue - something to remember if you are looking for ideas to create your own cards at home! Here's the link to the full Wrapped in Plaid Suite in my online shop so you can do one-click shopping and get ready to make your own cards or pick your own favourites from the suite.
If you love silver and some non traditional colours in your Designer Series Papers, then check out the Feels Like Frost Suite of Products here - one side of the Specialty Designer Series Paper pack features hand drawn designs in silver foil, the other is photographic imagery in soft pinks, blues and purples to coordinate with many of our cardstock colours! If you don't need it all, then order the special products you want to complete your Christmas projects.
Here's the card we made at my recent club class to take full advantage of the photo realistic papers!
The 3/4" trim piece we cut off the top edge became a decorative strip on the back of the envelope!
And here's a card I received from a team member in a recent swap - it highlights the gift box on p 40 that was made into a card - such a good idea!

Which products are you going to try next? Let me know and show me what you make too - I love sharing ideas with you!

I'll have some new  Christmas Card and Tags class dates ready for you next blog post so stay tuned!!

Happy stamping!!

Sunday Share - Say hello to #Elfie and Christmas Card Kit class payment deadline Wednesday!

This week I'm highlighting a special stamp set in the 2019 Holiday Catalogue. It is called #Elfie and it has a Million Dollar story behind it!
When a SU demonstrator reaches the lofty personal sales figure of a Million Dollars (in US funds) they are rewarded with a trip to Stampin' Up! headquarters in Riverton Utah and treated royally for their hard work - including helping to design a special stamp set to commemorate their achievement. One of our Canadian demonstrators reached that benchmark last year and she helped design the #Elfie stamp set included in this catalogue - and what a fun set it is!

Look at the different cards I have done already with this set - can't you imagine all the fun cards and tags you can make once you get this set in your home??

And do you have kids or grandkids who wait for the Elf on the Shelf to come out each December?? Think of the cute messages the "Elf" could leave with this set as part of the fun!!
Get your #Elfie set now by clicking on this link here and start creating soon - or check out everything in my store for more ideas and products -  this link will take you right to my store and you can shop now!

Sunday Share - #makeacardsendacard and Some Holiday Catalogue Card Swaps

Did you make cards yesterday for World Card Making Day?? If you did, then remember to MAIL them to your family and friends so they know you are thinking of them - they will LOVE getting some "happy mail" from you :-) I made family birthday and anniversary cards to send and they are ready to go when I head out later this morning to work at the Elections Canada office . . . since I can't show those cards in case they see them here, I'll share with you some cards from the Holiday Catalogue that I got in swaps and made at a team meeting I attended mid-September.
One of the easiest ways to get your creativity going is to copy a card idea from our catalogues - after all the concept artists are paid to come up with awesome ideas that we can use - and chances are their ideas are what sold you on getting a particular stamp set or dies!! You can check out the card above on p 16 - it uses the dies and the greeting and there are so many choices in this Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set that you will reach for it all the time!! The Designer series paper is Toile Tidings on p 8 and it is perfect for Christmas projects on one side and anytime of year one the other so a great value!!  Get the bundle here now so you can start your cards!
The next two cards (above and below) are from a team swap and the cards came from p 3 introducing the bundles in the Holiday catalogue . . .  the first card from my friend Colleen shows off the Tidings All Around Bundle, and the second card from my friend Alison highlights the Perfectly Plaid Bundle in non-traditional colours - I love them both!! If these cards make you want to start creating then click on the links for each bundle and they will be on their way soon! I probably bought the whole suite of the Perfectly Plaid products as I love plaid and the tree punch makes it so easy!!
And last card for today shows our happy moose that I made at a team meeting last month - what can be more Canadian than this fun moose and his red scarf?? Well, I guess you could put a Buffalo Check Background behind him and that would be perfect! You can find the Merry Moose Bundle on p 27 in your Holiday Catalogue - and it's another punch!!
Till next time - Happy stamping!!

World Card Making Day - #makeacardsendacard

Today is World Cardmaking Day - and I'm popping by with a quick post to ask you to #makeacardsendacard to someone you know - I know that it's so much fun to make a card that we need to remember the real happiness is sharing that card! So make your card, get out the envelope and make it match, then put an address on it and SEND it out by the end of the weekend!
Here's a couple of ideas to get you started . . . . . .  I made these cards last time I visited my ladies at The Wesbrooke Residence and had such a good time with them. They certainly know how to spread the joy with their card making!
This is another never-ending card I did for friends celebrating their 50th Anniversary - it is really a WOW kind of card and if you have never tried it, I can share some easy steps in a class with your friends - let me know!
I'll be back tomorrow with some more ideas in my Sunday Share feature - hope you can share your cards too before they go in the mail!

Need new products? Want to shop the Holiday catalogue now? Then use this link and your order will soon be on it's way!
