Sunday Share - First Technique Club Class Projects

If you've read my recent newsletters, you will know I started a new program for the New Year - I'm calling them Technique Club Classes and you can join in on the fun on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. There will be a special newsletter each month announcing the classes with a zoom link to register and I'll send a reminder on the day so you don't forget. And you can start anytime, and skip if you aren't available! There's no limit to the number who can attend so plan to be on Zoom for the next one!

Here's the new Blending Brushes - 1. new out of the package 2. Getting inky in class  3. Rinsed with water only after class

The first few months we will be exploring all the ways you can use the new Stampin' Up! Blending Brushes. They are so soft you might want to use them as makeup brushes but please save them for your inking fun!!

Here's the first two techniques we did last week - the first is Colour Blocking (masking) using post-it notes for the different colour blocks - and I aded the Sale-a-Bration Darling Donkeys for the finishing touch! So cute 😉

The second technique is called Colour Blending where we did a softer gradient blending look with our sample of Basic White cardstock. You can use any colours in your ink pad collection to make the samples, and experiment with your stamps to get the final result. I stamped another image from a Sale-a-Bration set called Corner Bouquet and the greeting is from a new stamp in the January-June Mini called Enjoy the Moment.   Those Matt Black Dots are the perfect finishing touch and are also in the new Mini.

Anyone who attends my Zoom Technique Club sessions will go into a draw for a product from my stash, and anyone placing an order of $25 or more that night or using my Host Code of the month to order online will be in the draw for host rewards when I close the workshop at noon the following day. So two ways to win PLUS a big win learning new ways to create fun elements for your cards!!

Want to have some crafting time and chat with your crafty friends too?? Join me for my new Craft and Chat virtual evenings on the 2nd Tuesday of each month and work on any crafting project. You can share on your Zoom screen what you are doing or post later on our Facebook page . . .  . I'll probably be catching up on a couple of Paper Pumpkin kits for the first couple of sessions . . .  I will send a newsletter out with Zoom links next week but mark the date on your calendar February 9th at 7:00 pm!! It's all free so we can relax and share ideas!

Want to get a start for next month's classes by ordering some supplies - you can shop here using this link and if you add this Host Code UKMBTRYF then I'll be able to link you to the Technique Club for our Host Rewards draws.

Happy stamping!

No matter which option you choose, you can always suspend for a month if you are going away or something happens that you know you won't be able to do the kit (or you just aren't crazy about the sneak peek notices on Facebook!). And the kits are so improved from years back - you will love the quality and ideas for making cards - even from 3D projects!

And if you are already a subscriber, AWESOME as you will get your bonus set in March!!
The kits are super fun, quick to make and include everything you need to make up the contents - although I do use my scissors to cut any ribbon/twine in the kit. Sign up to make your kit with me!
Four easy steps to a fun time - 1. Open box 2. Sort products  3. Make one card/project according to instructions  4. Check Paper Pumpkin email sent to you with alternate projects and links to blog posts for more ideas (or just keep making them according to guide).

Loved the cards in February's kit - if you sign up now you might be able to get some refills that were just released and then you can borrow my stamps at our March event to stamp your cards - check out this link to Paper Pumpkin past kits (only available to current subscribers)

Painted Poppies Suite

The Peaceful Poppies suite includes two bundles, plus tons of gorgeous accessories. This suite is so amazing we have to call it a super-suite! Sunday Share - Peaceful Poppies Suite of Colour Class!

There's a really good reason that today's featured suite is on the front cover of the 2020 January - June Mini Catalogue - the poppies are almost bursting off the pages in all their gorgeous colours!
This card is another that we made during our On Stage Conference last November in Las Vegas and it shows the colours in the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Papers beautifully . . . . . . .
I love all the line art images in the stamps and the fact that we have coordinating dies makes it that much better. In fact, I love this suite so much that I am offering a special class so you can create some magic too!
Those that attended my Open House yesterday were so excited with the feature board I made that they signed up for the class right away - so don't delay. Here's the details for you:
Sign up now  for Painted Poppies Card Class and make 4 fabulous cards to take home. This is a product class – meaning you will receive at the class, use and take home:

1.     Painted Poppies Stamp Set $31 value
2.    Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper ½ pack $8.00 value – you can opt for a full package $15.75 value (and pay $60)
3.     Peaceful Poppies Elements  $8.75 value

Retail cost would be $68.38 plus s/h and taxes (because you would need to buy a full pack of DSP) and you pay only $50/60 and you will make 4 cards (or 3 cards plus a pocket or regular layout). I will provide inks, and all the extra cardstock/products to make the cards. You will have lots of DSP paper to take home and make more cards as well as the stamp set and Elements that are not used (there are lots in the package!).

Please bring your paper trimmer, scissors and adhesives  – if you run out, I will have some available for sale at the class.  You might want to bring a couple of clear blocks for your stamps too.

Deadline to sign up is January 16th at 9:00 pm (end of my Coffee and Cards class)

I will be placing all orders after my Coffee and Cards event that evening so I know the products will arrive and we can set the class dates. Message me to book your class and ask me about sharing with a friend option so you can create together! Here's some more card ideas from the Mini Catalogue - there's no end to what you can create!!
Check my Events page to see when your next free afternoon or evening is and book the time with me - you will love having some time for yourself and you'll go home with some cards to wow your family and friends!!

Happy stamping!
