My favourite Sale-a-Bration products! Still time to get yours!

Sale-a-Bration ends this weekend - March 31st and all orders must be in to Stampin' Up! by 10:50 pm March 31st (Pacific time). If you have been trying to get a last minute list together, then do it now before you get busy with long weekend plans - you don't want to be this person!

I thought I'd show you some of the cards I made with the fabulous FREE items I got from my orders over the past three months - they have been an amazing group of products and I loved making cards with all of the papers, ribbons, and stamp sets!
If you have your eye on any of the FREE items, then place your order now (click here) and you will soon be creating some of these fun cards to share with family and friends . . . . and you know they love the personal touch when you make a card - just for them! Use my Host Code RGS2UMHT  to get in my month end draw (unless your order is over $200 then don't use the code as you will get your own rewards and you will still qualify for my draw).

Here's the latest card I made with one of the images in the Lots of Lavender Stamp Set and the Tutti-Frutti Cards & Envelopes (both FREE items) - and I played with my new Stamparatus to get the circle image - so much fun to do! I can't wait to share some stamping tricks with you when you can order your Stamparatus in June with the new Annual Catalogue. It's the best stamp positioning tool available!
If you aren't sure what to order to get to that magic $60 mark, then try Paper Pumpkin subscriptions for 3 - 6 - or 12 months.

All of three qualify you for Sale-a-Bration items and you can click on this link here, right now an get yours started. Remember to pick your free items before checking out and to use my Host Code RGS2UMHT  to get in my month end draw (unless your order is over $200 then don't use the code as you will get your own rewards and you will still qualify for my draw).

Have a Happy Easter weekend and hope you share some time (and some hugs) with your family and friends during the extended weekend - some cute treat baskets I made this year!

Happy Stamping!

Sunday Share - Clean and Simple Cards and last chance week for Sale-a-Bration!!

It's Sunday Share time again - wow! Where does the week go? Time is sure flying by and spring officially arrived last week. Buds are starting to bloom and bulbs are poking their heads up making sure it is safe to grow! I think we are okay on the West Coast - for others I hope your spring comes soon!

I got some beautiful daffodils last week to celebrate spring - don't they make you think of sunshine?

If you were able to drop into my Make it Monday last week, these are the cards we made - lots of fun and a great break for those coming for a visit and sharing in the cards . . .

Here's the details of each card for you so you can create them on your own -

This fun card uses the Swirly Bird Stamp Set and the Happy Birthday greeting is from the Sale-a-Bration Eclectic Expressions Stamp Set that you can get for FREE with any $60.00 order. I love the look of that greeting! I used Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy and Sweet Sugarplum to stamp my swirls and dots, backed the stamped layer with Dapper Denim Cardstock before adding to a Whisper White base. I added some of the retired Enamel Shapes to the greeting layer, which I punched with the Everyday Label Punch (carried over from the Holiday Catalogue). I added a few circles of Silver Metallic Thread to the back of my greeting, anchored with a couple of Glue Dots. Quick and easy and fun to make in many different colour combinations too! What colours would you choose?

I love the combination of the Rose Gold in the Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper (a FREE item during Sale-a-Bration) and the Berry Burst Cardstock, ink and Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon! The flower was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and then the colour added in Berry Burst to the tag I made - both stamps are part of the Oh So Eclectic Stamp Set in the Annual Catalogue - a favourite of mine too :-) The greeting is from the Sure Do Love You Stamp Set in the occasions Catalogue - so easy to mix up the sets to say what you want on your card.

All the items highlighted in bold are available through my online store (link here) or you can send me an email or message to get the order in for you - but don't delay as Sale-a-Bration ends March 31st! You can use my host code RGS2UMHT to get in on my end of Sale-a-Bration draw - this code ends March 29th at noon (as I am going away for Easter weekend and want to have it in for you!) so do it now while you are thinking about it!

Note: If your order is going to be over $200 before shipping and taxes, don't use the code as you will want to get your own rewards - you will still get in my draw!

Until next time - Happy Stamping!

It's officially SPRING! and time to enjoy the Blossoming Basket Bundle while it lasts!

Hi everyone - if you haven't checked out the Sale-a-Bration bundle called Blossoming Basket then here's your chance before it is gone March 31st! The bundle consists of a beautiful Blossoming Basket Stamp set and the Basket Weave Textured Impression Embossing Folder - what a great set!!

Here are some pictures from the flyer created by the Stampin' Up! concept artists - they certainly know how to showcase our products!!
This set is perfect for springlike cards (whether they are for birthdays, anniversaries, thinking of you, Easter or even getting a head start on a Mother's Day card) and this pretty basket of flowers will easily do the job for you. Take a look at the samples I have done, then check out your wish list - when your order is $120 or more, you can get these two items FREE and create your own gorgeous cards.
This card was fun to do at our Stamp Club last week - and everyone appreciated that the colouring was so easy! Did you guess that the main flowers were coloured with a sponge dauber lightly inked in Sweet Sugarplum to coordinate with the cardstock? Super quick to do and a great effect too - the leaves were done with the light Old Olive and Pool Party Stampin' Blends so the card came together quite quickly for everyone! Great card with the Happy Birthday option too! We added a touch of Wink of Stella on the flowers to finish off the card :-)

Here's another variation of the card -  and I accidentally grabbed my gold Wink of Stella (retired) so had to add some Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends to the flowers to tone it down a bit - kind of a happy mistake, I think! That greeting is from the Heartfelt Blooms Stamp Set - another Sale-a-Bration offering - in fact it is the #1 item chosen in this year's free offerings!
And here's a fun way to use the Basket Weave Embossing Folder - using the Tutti-Frutti Designer Series Paper Pack. I also added some stamped and punched strawberries to the card - looks yummy doesn't it? You will love that bright and cheery paper and it's super convenient 6" x 6" size! Perfect for card making and trimming envelopes too!
Order on line (click here) using my hostess code  RGS2UMHT until March 29th at noon, or send me your list to put in the order for you - either way you will get your free items and stock up on needed supplies too.

While you are looking at the options for this set, take a look at the video Stampin' Up! Training Department made for us - lots of ideas in it!
Have fun stamping this week and please share your springtime creations with me!

Happy stamping!

Sunday Share - Amazing Congratulations

Today's share came from my trying the Two-Step stamping technique with my new Stamparatus!

Yes, I was lucky enough to get in on the first pre-order period and my Stamparatus arrived earlier this week. I was definitely doing the Happy Dance I can assure you!!!
It is everything I hoped from seeing videos from the leadership group who got theirs before Christmas (only fair as they spent two years helping to develop the Stamparatus) and I must say it is even more that I expected . . . .  it is a good weight so does not move around on my desk and it is a perfect size to do larger items. Check out this post to see more on the Stamparatus details and get ready to put it on your wish list for June when the new Annual catalogue comes out!
I decided to play with a Two-Step stamp I got from the Occasions Catalogue called Amazing Congratulations and I was really happy with the results.  Once I got the stamps placed on the different sides of the Stamparatus plates, it was easy to make more than one card in the different colours.

Here's the cards I did - two different colour combinations and two very different looks - which one do you like best??  While I was at it, I stamped more strips with the greeting so I am ready to make more cards in a minute!

The Tutti-Frutti Card bases with coordinating envelopes were so quick and they are FREE with Sale-a-Bration until March 31st - a great way to have cards ready to go - just add your own greetings and maybe some Shimmer Ribbon like I did on the Calypso Coral card above - another FREE Sale-a-Bration item! I also added some Iridescent Sequins (Annual catalogue).

The Soft Sky card on the right has some of the Subtles Enamel Shapes stars on the greeting strip in Wisteria Wonder and Soft Sky.

What are you making this weekend? If you need some new products, or want to stock up on the basics - shop at my online store link here and earn your free products now before March 31st!

Share your creativity with me and I will enter your name in a draw to win the two cards I made!

Happy Stamping!

Sale-a-Bration Heartfelt Blooms is a Winner!

There aren't too many weeks left in Sale-a-Bration - you need to pick out your FREE items and get your qualifying orders in by March 31st to get those amazing products so you can start stamping and creating!

The Heartfelt Blooms Stamp Set is a new venture for Stampin' Up! - the artist drew the design while looking at an actual bouquet of flowers and turned red rubber into this amazing stamp where the images look like a photograph! The concept is so new that Stampin' Up! is taking out a patent on the process (called "Distinktive" stamps) so I am definitely hoping we will see more of these realistic stamps soon!

You have to try it for yourself to see how easy it is to make some really awesome cards with this stamp - I am so glad I got it and have had a chance to play with it. And guess what - I'm taking it to a scrapbook retreat this weekend so I can play some more! Click on this link to my online shopping or email/message me to get your order in for you!

Here's pictures from the flyer to show you how the concept artists used the stamps (nothing wrong with copying their ideas if you are stuck for inspiration!) and then I'll share a couple I made too  . . . .

Here's the detail on the stamp itself - and the script on the greetings is perfect for so many occasions!

Here's my cards to share today - the first in Tranquil Tide I received from a friend in a swap - the other two are thanks to the inspiration on Pinterest from a couple of demonstrators:

This card is made using Marina Mist and Basic Black cardstock, stamping on Whisper White cardstock, with some Rhinestones
and the inside got stamped too . . . .

This card is Sweet Sugarplum (one of the In Colors retiring end of May so if you like it, get it soon!) with Basic Gray and the Basic Gray Shimmer Ribbon in Sale-a-Bration too. I stamped the greeting right on the flower and then added some Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to the centres of the flowers.

A quick tip when using this stamp - make sure your ink pads are not too juicy as the detail will show so much better if your ink pads are not putting too much ink on the stamp. You might even want to "stamp off" onto grid paper first as I did on both my cards :-)

If you are still not sure if this stamp is a must have after looking at these WOW cards, then check out the video from our Stampin' Up! trainer Brandi who has even more ideas to share with you - I'm sure you will agree this stamp is a keeper!

And if you are looking for a super quick way to get to the $60 threshold to earn free product - then check out the Paper Pumpkin kits and their "cheaper by the dozen" pricing - how great would that be to have a kit come to your door each month - a fun surprise to make with kids, grand kids or when you are travelling! You can also get 3 or 6 month subscriptions and each of them gives you free Sale-a-Bration choices - check this link here for more information!

Happy Stamping!

Sunday Share - Stamping at The Wesbrooke!

Today I am sharing a fun time with you - once a month I visit The Wesbrooke Residence in nearby Pitt Meadows and make cards with some of the ladies. We have so much fun and they are so quick at putting their cards together from the kits I make up. This month we even had time for some cookies and tea before they went off to their varied afternoon pursuits. Here's a picture of some of the ladies (and the Recreation Director) with the cards we made - they really liked the shiny mini bows we put on all the "girly" cards - and the fancy fold we tried for the "guy" cards -
And here's the cards we made close up using some of my retired papers for the guys card but they would work really well with True Gentleman Designer Series Paper in the Occasions Catalogue -

I love how the punched out greeting holds the fold in place until you want to open the card - it makes a fun and different look that fits in a standard envelope for mailing too! And the Tailored Tag punch coordinates with the Truly Tailored Stamp Set - and it comes in a bundle too which means you can save 10% - it's so quick and easy when we can punch out our stamped images!

You can find any of the supplies to make your own cards in my online store by clicking on this link here - or email/message me to get your order going for you!

Remember it's Sale-a-Bration time and that means until March 31st every time you spend $60 you can choose one item FREE from the Sale-a-Bration flyers! There are so many awesome products this year that it's hard to choose a favourite - stock up on your papers. adhesives and more and you can choose more than one!

Click that link (here it is again!) to start your shopping now and the order comes right to your house!

I hope you are having a happy weekend and getting some time to create for you!

Happy Stamping!
