Sunday Share - delayed to give you updates!

Here's my planned post for Sunday and then read down to see the updates for October 1st!

I had another fun visit to The Wesbrooke in Pitt Meadows, where my group of ladies made a couple of cards each to add to the birthday box at the residence - everyone's birthday is recognized and they all appreciate the cards when it is their turn to celebrate their special day :-)
Don't they look like a happy group?

And here's the cards we made for the birthday box - they do like bright and cheery cards and are getting super fast at putting my kits together . . .  I may have to start figuring out some more complicated designs! Thanks everyone at The Wesbrooke for another great visit!

So what's the news from Stampin' Up! you ask???
World Card Making Day is coming up on Saturday, October 6th but a single day wasn't enough for us to celebrate this year - we have a whole week of specials (October 1st to October 7th) and all geared towards helping us make as many projects as we want (like the fabulous Lots of Happy and Soft Sayings Card Kits), while saving money on basics (like Stampin' Dimensionals and Tear & Tape). There are some really great stamp sets on sale too - including Petal Palette Stamp Set which has coordinating framelits for easy die cutting! And don't forget the 12" x 12" Cardstock in Whisper White and Very Vanilla - two basics that are needed for both card making and layouts. Last but not least, are all the note cards on sale - all types, all colours! My personal fave is the Delightfully Detailed Note Cards set which has the watercolour look already printed on the blank cards, ready for you to add stamps and greetings!

Check out my online store (click here) for all the specials and place your order to ship directly to you, or ask me to send it in for you.

If you have the Stamparatus, then you'll want to look at all the accessories just released today as well - I told you it was a busy day at Stampin' Up!
Here's a link (click here) to the items in my online store and add them to your next order - they will make life so much easier with your Stamparatus - and if you've been waiting to buy this amazing tool, then it's in the same link - you will honestly wonder how you stamped without it.

Everyone who buys the Stamparatus with me, gets a free class showing how to get the most from your new tool, as well as some handy templates to take home with you so you can create some great cards on your own! So don't delay - shop today!!

Happy Stamping!

Sunday Share - Amazing Congratulations

Today's share came from my trying the Two-Step stamping technique with my new Stamparatus!

Yes, I was lucky enough to get in on the first pre-order period and my Stamparatus arrived earlier this week. I was definitely doing the Happy Dance I can assure you!!!
It is everything I hoped from seeing videos from the leadership group who got theirs before Christmas (only fair as they spent two years helping to develop the Stamparatus) and I must say it is even more that I expected . . . .  it is a good weight so does not move around on my desk and it is a perfect size to do larger items. Check out this post to see more on the Stamparatus details and get ready to put it on your wish list for June when the new Annual catalogue comes out!
I decided to play with a Two-Step stamp I got from the Occasions Catalogue called Amazing Congratulations and I was really happy with the results.  Once I got the stamps placed on the different sides of the Stamparatus plates, it was easy to make more than one card in the different colours.

Here's the cards I did - two different colour combinations and two very different looks - which one do you like best??  While I was at it, I stamped more strips with the greeting so I am ready to make more cards in a minute!

The Tutti-Frutti Card bases with coordinating envelopes were so quick and they are FREE with Sale-a-Bration until March 31st - a great way to have cards ready to go - just add your own greetings and maybe some Shimmer Ribbon like I did on the Calypso Coral card above - another FREE Sale-a-Bration item! I also added some Iridescent Sequins (Annual catalogue).

The Soft Sky card on the right has some of the Subtles Enamel Shapes stars on the greeting strip in Wisteria Wonder and Soft Sky.

What are you making this weekend? If you need some new products, or want to stock up on the basics - shop at my online store link here and earn your free products now before March 31st!

Share your creativity with me and I will enter your name in a draw to win the two cards I made!

Happy Stamping!
