Sunday Share - Best Dressed Suite to Impress Everyone

Today I'm sharing the last of the card ideas from our November convention in Las Vegas - being able to visit warm places in winter and play with new products while stamping with friends (both long time and new) is a definite perk about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator!
Here's what we made with the Dressed to Impress stamp set on the adorable 3" x 3" Note Cards and Envelopes - and touched each one with the Wink of Stella brush for some quick glitter magic!
The Suite is full of awesome products (see them all here) that coordinate for the perfect card idea or scrapbook layout - how fun it would be to do a layout of your kids/grandkids and friends playing dress-up?  And the mini purse dies will have you creating so many varieties to put your note cards in - a perfect gift for a co-worker, neighbour or anyone who likes to keep in touch with fashion ideas!

Here's a card I had to make for my niece who loves shoes - sorry I didn't get a picture before I wrote in it so that's what all the extra bits are covering! The little shoe box pops up when you open the card! Want to make it yourself? then click this link and start ordering :-) or message/email me to get your order done.
And here's a couple more ideas from Stampin' Up! concept artists on what you can do with this set and the Note Cards and Envelopes -
I'm sure loving the Paper Pumpkin kits this year - the January one called I'll Bee Yours is perfect for so many different card ideas - did you know I hold a special class near the end of each month for my Paper Pumpkin subscribers so we can make our kits together and share some alternate ideas too! Here's a look at January's kit from Stampin' Up!'s Paper Pumpkin Blog -
Sign up here and get started with the February kit which is going to be all full-size cards and if you subscribe for 3, 6 or 9 months you also get a FREE Sale-a-Bration product of your choice too!!
My next Coffee and Cards events are February 18th and 20th. Check my Events page on my website to sign up for your best time!! I feature quick and easy card ideas for new stampers or ways to use up your stash for more experienced stampers. Bring a project that you are working on and do it in the calm and creative environment in my studio - lots of fun!!

Sunday Share - Forever Blossoms Will Make Your Cards Shine!

I hope you are all surviving your winter weather wherever you may be. Here on the West Coast we've gone through some pretty heavy snowfalls the past week and ended up with rain turning everything to a slushy mess starting yesterday. I really think I liked the snow better - it was so pretty and made everything seem brighter!
I'm continuing to showcase the cards we made at the Stampin' Up! conference last fall - this one is so pretty that I used it as the Make and Take for my Open House last weekend and it was super popular with all my attendees! The images are from the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set in the new Spring Mini Catalogue.
Have you stamped on your Designer Series Papers lately? It's a great way to get a new and different look for your card fronts and lets you use some of those pretty papers as backgrounds to your stamped images. This large floral image was stamped in Gray Granite Ink for a softer look and then coloured with the light shades of Petal Pink and Old Olive Stampin' Blends. It was a quick and easy way to add some subtle colour to the Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper. We backed that piece with a layer of Vellum Cardstock, then popped it onto a Pool Party Cardstock Base. The swirl of Petal Pink Metallic Edge Ribbon was adhered to the back of the greeting with Snail (but Glue Dots work too). The greeting was stamped in Gray Granite Ink and punched with the new Label Me Fancy Punch. The sparkle comes from the Champagne Rhinestone basic Jewels.
Here's another card I did to show how versatile this stamp set is - I stamped, coloured then ran the layer through the Subtles Embossing Folder to give it that linen look. So easy and that's not even taking into account there are coordinating dies to make cutting the images oh-so-easy if you want to do that.  Purchase both the Forever Blossoms stamp set and Cherry Blossom dies as a bundle and save 10% - that's smart shopping! They are part of the larger Parisian Suite of products and are available on their own or as part of the "I need it all" bundle . . . . check them out on my online store here for more information.
You can order on line anytime and have the order sent directly to you - and my thanks you gifts to you will be sent at the end of each month. When your order hits $60 you can choose any FREE item in the Sale-a-Bration flyer to add to your order or wish list . . . . it's the best time of year to shop as you get rewarded for getting your supplies or wish list items!
And if you want the ultimate discount shoppers bundle (aka Join My Team)  - you can get your very own Starter Kit for $135 which includes $165 in products as the normal value BUT during Sale-a-Bration you also get to pick ANY stamp set and receive this sampler pack of Designer Series Paper and this gotta' have it Mini Paper Cutter - all those add-ons make this a really big deal - with no shipping or taxes on any of your kit.
Here's the add-on specials during Sale-a-Bration only - why not give it a try and if it's not for you then no problem - keep what you have and you can be my customer again :-) Check out this link here to see if it's right for you - we'd love to have you on our team of happy crafters!

Kylie's Demo Training Blog Hop January 2020 Love You to Pieces!

Thank you for joining us for our Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Monthly Team Blog Hop! We are so happy that you could join us today for this blog hop for ideas and creative inspiration. We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world taking part in training to reach some goals we have set. We really appreciate your support.

You may be starting at my blog - Ginny Duncan from Maple Ridge, BC Canada -  or have come from another blog - either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and amazing idea today.
I had just received my order with the From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper and the "Oh so cute" Heart Doilies and looked around my craft room for some inspiration to create with them for this blog hop. I had the Love You to Pieces Stamp Set and Puzzle Dies (Annual Catalogue) sitting on my crafting desk from another project and this card idea was born!
I decided to use the puzzle die as an "embossing folder" so used an embossing mat to get the image onto my Petal Pink Cardstock without cutting through - it makes a different fun focal point for the card front! I stamped some of the mini hearts randomly over the embossed piece and layered it over the fun mini hearts DSP which was glued to my Thick Whisper White Cardstock base. I added one of the Real Red Heart Doilies to the embossed piece then tied some Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon in a bow around the embossed layer. I popped this onto the card base at angle with Dimensionals. To finish off  the card, I stamped and die cut the two puzzle pieces using Flirty Flamingo ink and popped them onto the card.
I had some bits left over so made a 3" x 3" Gift Card and thought it needed some sparkle so die cut the row of hearts (Stitched Be Mine Dies) from the Rose Glimmer Paper. I added some of the cutouts to the first card.

I was super happy putting together a card with products from our Annual Catalogue and the 2020 January - June Mini - love that we can coordinate all our products in all our catalogues - it makes creating so easy!! Contact me or shop anytime using my links on my blog - and be sure to check my Events page for what's happening in my Stampin' World!!

Thank you so much for coming by today! Remember you are currently on my page - Ginny Duncan from Maple Ridge, BC Canada - see who is below me to know where to go next.

Happy Stamping!

Sunday Share - Peaceful Poppies Suite of Colour Class!

There's a really good reason that today's featured suite is on the front cover of the 2020 January - June Mini Catalogue - the poppies are almost bursting off the pages in all their gorgeous colours!
This card is another that we made during our On Stage Conference last November in Las Vegas and it shows the colours in the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Papers beautifully . . . . . . .
I love all the line art images in the stamps and the fact that we have coordinating dies makes it that much better. In fact, I love this suite so much that I am offering a special class so you can create some magic too!
Those that attended my Open House yesterday were so excited with the feature board I made that they signed up for the class right away - so don't delay. Here's the details for you:
Sign up now  for Painted Poppies Card Class and make 4 fabulous cards to take home. This is a product class – meaning you will receive at the class, use and take home:

1.     Painted Poppies Stamp Set $31 value
2.    Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper ½ pack $8.00 value – you can opt for a full package $15.75 value (and pay $60)
3.     Peaceful Poppies Elements  $8.75 value

Retail cost would be $68.38 plus s/h and taxes (because you would need to buy a full pack of DSP) and you pay only $50/60 and you will make 4 cards (or 3 cards plus a pocket or regular layout). I will provide inks, and all the extra cardstock/products to make the cards. You will have lots of DSP paper to take home and make more cards as well as the stamp set and Elements that are not used (there are lots in the package!).

Please bring your paper trimmer, scissors and adhesives  – if you run out, I will have some available for sale at the class.  You might want to bring a couple of clear blocks for your stamps too.

Deadline to sign up is January 16th at 9:00 pm (end of my Coffee and Cards class)

I will be placing all orders after my Coffee and Cards event that evening so I know the products will arrive and we can set the class dates. Message me to book your class and ask me about sharing with a friend option so you can create together! Here's some more card ideas from the Mini Catalogue - there's no end to what you can create!!
Check my Events page to see when your next free afternoon or evening is and book the time with me - you will love having some time for yourself and you'll go home with some cards to wow your family and friends!!

Sunday Share - Timeless Tulips Bundle and Save the Date!!

The new 2020 January - June Mini Catalogue is now live and I am so happy to share with you over the next few weeks some of the projects we did at On Stage in Las Vegas to introduce us to the amazing array of products available - you will love adding some of these stamps, punches, dies and papers to  crafting time!!
In addition, when you shop from this Mini or from the regular catalogue you can earn FREE products from the Sale-a-Bration flyer as soon as your purchases reach $60 - so take a look through the catalogue and flyer in the sidebar links and see below to get your own copy soon!
Sale-a-Bration is always the best time to think about joining Stampin' Up! - it's when I signed up and so did most of my team! There's always extra rewards for signing and this year is no exception - look what you can get as an add-on to your kit (which already includes $165.00 worth of product of your choice for $135.00; a complete business package for order taking and no tax or shipping) and it's worth up to $100 more depending on which stamp set you choose!!!
I was able to get the Mini Trimmer and Designer Series Paper Sampler to see them for myself and I can tell you that it's worth going for even if you decide you don't want to do anything more than get the kit  . . . . but if you like the products then why not stay for the discount - that's being a smart shopper!!
Today I'm sharing the card we made using the Timeless Tulips Bundle - it's a DistINKtive stamp set with lots of greetings and a coordinating punch for some quick and easy tulip making - the Rococo Rose goes so well with the Pear Pizzazz leaves and we added Wink of Stella over the punched flowers for some added glimmer. I really like the Linen Thread wrapped around the Whisper White layer and tied - it almost takes on a soft green look from the cardstock . . .
Here's a look at the stamp set and the punch - you will love what you can make using them and I know they will be a great addition to your crafting space. Take a look at p 43 in the 2020 Mini Catalogue for some more ideas,  then start making your own projects! These would make a great border on spring layouts too!
Join me next Saturday January 11th from 11 am - 4:00 pm for my Catalogue Launch party - we always have so much fun and you will make a card, see (and try) new products on display, check out Paper Pumpkin kits, enter into draws for some products and you can shop my retired products basket too! RSVP on my Events page here so I have enough kits ready for you - and yes, friends are welcome to join you :-)

Happy stamping!
