Sunday Share - which retiring products are on your "gotta have" list?

Today I'm highlighting some cards I got at a recent team swap during the Vancouver On Stage event earlier this month. We had to make cards with products from the Annual Catalogue - and not knowing what was retiring meant that some of the awesome samples showcased stamps and/or dies that will be retiring the end of May (or sooner if supplies run out!)
Do you have pet lovers among your friends or family? Then these two sets are ones you will want to pick up before they retire - the puppy one is called Bella & Friends (it has been in my collection since it first came out) and the other is Pretty Kitty - take a look at the cute kitty card above that I received in the swap from Sheryl and a couple of sample ideas below from our concept artists . . . you can even use the stamp sets together to create some fun messages!! Order your Bella & Friends (click here) from my On Line store before you miss out! Use this link for Pretty Kitty!

I loved the Half Full Stamp Set and picked it up to make cards for friends - you never know when a wine themed card will be just what you need to add to a bottle as a hostess gift, or to send a cheerful greeting to someone at any time of year . . . . and you can colour the glasses with red or white so always appropriate - click here to order this set before it goes for good! This swap card from my friend Diane has an inside pocket so you can add a gift card to your greeting - so easy to do!
My next swap card was made by Alicja and features the retiring Ribbon of Courage Stamp Set - what a wonderful group of images and sentiments to send to someone battling cancer to let them know you are thinking of them.  The Support Ribbon Framelits will continue into the new catalogue but the stamp set won't so make sure you get it (click here) so you can use it for so many occasions. I know it will be one I keep in my personal collection . . . .
I am really sad to say good-bye to Dragonfly Dreams and the coordinating Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies - they have been a favourite in my craft room to showcase so many techniques and they will be missed! This swap card came from my friend Ginette and it shows off the framelits perfectly! You can click here to get the link to these awesome products!
I'll be back next week with some more favourites that are retiring but if you want to see all the retiring products in one place then click here for the complete list and order before they are gone!

Happy Stamping!

Sunday Share - More cards at The Wesbrooke and a sneak peek!

As you know, I visit the crafty ladies at The Wesbrooke in Pitt Meadows once a month so we can make some cards and catch up on their world.
Here are the cards we made last month, and I had to make them some Easter treat baskets too so they could fill them with some candies and treats (after they ate the ones I put in!)

Once a year, The Wesbrooke has a special dinner for all their volunteers, both those who live at the residence, and those who come from outside the community - we were royally treated to a turkey dinner with all the trimmings last week. It was wonderful to hear how so many people contribute to making this place a real home for everyone (not just a place to live). Here are a couple of pictures of the tables and salad course (after that I was too busy eating to take pictures!) Thanks to everyone who contributed to the evening!

Psst - want to see a sneak peek of the new catalogue coming your way in June? I attended On Stage in Vancouver yesterday and along with 600+ of my closest demonstrator friends (LOL!) got my very own copy of the new catalogue! It was an amazing day of playing with new products and learning about upcoming promotions to bring those products to you - if you are one of my regular customers and live out of town, your catalogue will be in the mail to you in May. Local customers can pick theirs up at my annual Show and Tell Catalogue Launch Party in late June. Details will be on my events page in May, once I finalize the dates/times!
I can tell you there were ooohs and ahhhs all around the room when we were given our catalogues! Here's the cards we made during our make and take sessions with some of the brand new products - so pretty!
Make it Monday tomorrow night at 7:00 pm still has some spaces so book now on my Events Page or message me if you want to make a few cards to have on hand to give - no running to the store last minute!

Start thinking now about getting any of the retiring In Color cardstock, inks, re-inkers or embellishments because they will definitely go fast once the retiring list is published next week - contact me or shop directly with this link.

Happy stamping!

Sunday Share - It's Paper Pumpkin Time again!!

Last month's Paper Pumpkin was an amazing kit - but that's what we expected to celebrate turning 6! Yes, Paper Pumpkin has been available for 6 years - don't you think it's time you signed up to get this fun kit at your door each month? Look what's coming this month if you sign up by April 10th - that's Wednesday so do it now! The sneak peeks that have been shared for April's kit let us know we will be getting one of Stampin' Up!'s amazing Distinktive Stamp sets - so realistic it's like you are stamping a photo :-)
So this is what the sneak peeks said about April's kit:

Make 9 cards (3 cards of 3 designs); Includes an adorable gift box - in addition to your 9 cards; Coordinating colours are - Basic Black, Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo, Gray Granite, Mint Macaron, and So Saffron (sounds like some spring and summer colours to me!!)

Click on this link and get ready for some fun!  Look at some pictures from the 6th Anniversary kit -  these kits are the perfect size to take to your cabin, in your trailer or save for some rainy day fun with kids and grand kids . . . any time you put the kits together you are guaranteed a relaxing and fun experience.
The kits include everything you need to make the projects - even a step by step sheet of instructions. Here's my "un-boxing" photos from this month - you can see the kit includes so many items including an exclusive stamp, mini ink spot and all the adhesives you need too! This kit did include and extra stamp set celebrating the 6th birthday (all the large numbers).
The Paper Pumpkin Facebook page, and Pinterest Board are filled with alternate ideas if the monthly project isn't your cup of tea . . . . and if you are going away, you can stop any kit before the 10th of the month, then pick up again next month. You also get exclusive access to any leftover kits or refills of kits so if you REALLY liked one, you can make more (providing they have surplus stocks)
Here's optional items that were added during Paper Pumpkin's Facebook Live show to create their extra cards  . . .   and you can pick up any of those by clicking my On Line store links on my blog or click right here to start shopping now!
Email or message me if you have any questions so you can start having the fun of a monthly kit filled with a surprise project coming to your door!
