Welcome to this month's Stampin' Dreams blog hop featuring anything floral! I chose some of the pretty patterned papers to create a couple of cards from a new Online Exclusives collection of products introduced March 1st by Stampin' Up!
I used the Hello Irresistible Designer Series Papers as the main focus for my card, then added some die cut pieces (Artistic Dies - Annual Catalogue) of the Naturally Gilded Papers for a contrast. I picked the copper accented design, then added some heat embossing in copper for my greetings on both cards.
I created a bit of texture with the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder in the Spring Mini and added some Flowers Adhesive Backed Trinkets to the card from the Annual Catalogue.
It's great that we have two catalogues plus some new online exclusive products to shop from - it makes it so easy to go online and see what's available to add to our crafting collection!!

Don't you love when you can get dies to match the stamps?? Me too - fussy cutting is okay, but die cutting the images is so much cleaner for me! I do love the detail in the die cut leaves that you can see in the picture below - perfect to add to any card!
I used a few blends to colour my apple image - Old Olive, So Saffron and Pale Papaya made it quick and easy!!
Here's my card close up so you can see I've added in a few autumn themed products from the July-December Mini - can you see the Leaf Fall Embossing Folder on the Basic White Stitched Rectangle? And I added the Kraft Maple Leaf and Amber Gems from the Leaf Label & Amber Gems Combo Pack.
The Designer Series Papers are from the Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper Pack - so many great patterns on both sides!! I added a bit of the green print to the envelope and inside the card too! This month's Crafty Challenge Blog Hop is all about colour - and lots of it too! I think my Sweet Songbirds were up to the challenge - especially when I gave them a slimline card to sing from! I thought the slimline card would be ideal to show off each of the colours in the challenge and it worked for me - I love it when an idea in my head comes together in the card I envision! Our Slimline Envelopes are the perfect fit for my card - I used the Basic White this time!
The background Designer Series Paper is from Hues of Happiness and I was able to cut just the right amount to show the Granny Apple Green and the Crushed Curry portions of the DSP.
I die cut three rectangles from Basic White Cardstock using the Stylish Shapes Square Dies (2nd largest) and I die cut the greeting from one of the Harvest Dies.
All the other pieces came together from the Sweet Songbirds Stamps and coordinating Punch - the tree branches were stamped in Crumb Cake, the leaves in Granny Apple Green, the mini flowers in Melon Mambo and the musical notes, greeting and eyes on the birds were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. I stamped and punched out two birds - one in Crushed Curry the other in Bermuda Bay. The third little bird was stamped directly onto the Stylish Shapes Square Die cut in Melon Mambo.
I added some bling by colouring Basic Rhinestones with the Granny Apple Green Dark Blends and a hint of Wink of Stella on the songbird bodies. If you look closely it even shows in a couple of the pictures!

My cards today started with my wanting to use the new Split Card Textures Dies in the Annual Catalogue along with the Sweet Candy Cane Bundle in the Holiday Mini. I also grabbed the new Deckled Rectangles Dies for some background layering.
Part of the Sweetest Christmas Suite includes the Real Red & White Glimmer Paper and I've used that for a sparkly background on both my cards. I could get sparkle behind both die cuts with a 4" x 6" piece, cut at an angle like in the picture above. I was super happy that the Glimmer Paper shows in most of my photos too! And if you don't like glitter everywhere - then you will love this paper as nothing rubs off onto you or your workspace!
I die cut the candy canes from the Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper - how cool is that when we can use die cuts to cut out our DSP designs?? I'm quite happy to do fussy cutting any time, but it's so neat to have the dies work their magic for us! After I did the Garden Green card, I decided to turn my Real Red card to landscape and like how it came out! Which do you like best? I added the Festive Pearls and some of the Real Red & Garden Green Ribbon Combo pack to finish off the card (and a bit of the DSP to the envelope flap!)

Let's take a look at my card share today - I decided to try out the dies in the Snowman Magic Bundle and use them as a frame mixing something old, something new, and something free too!
Something old - the Wonderful Snowflakes introduced last year and brought back this year as they were so popular - I love the iridescent shine they give to the background on my card! The greeting comes from the Peaceful Deer stamp set in the Annual catalogue (a returning fave from last year) as do the stamped snowflake images on the envelope corners and inside the card. Don't forget the Red Rhinestones - a perennial favourite too!
Something new - the really cool Snowflake Frame Die in the Snow Magic Bundle and the cute little bird die cut too! The larger snowflakes are found in the Chic Dies in the Annual Catalogue - part of The Texture Chic Suite of products (they include all the seasons so don't pass them by!).

That's today's Blog Hop question at Crafty Collaborations and for me it was an easy choice! I absolutely LOVE all the New In Colors and can't wait to share them with everyone . . . . today's card highlights the In Color Designer Series 6" x 6" Paper Pack, along with some of the coordinating Bakers Twine (from the combo pack), the Tahitian Tide ink and a few of the In Color Matte Decorative Dots!
Whew!! That's a lot of new In Color Products and that's not even all of them that you can purchase to make coordination on your cards or layouts super easy! I doubled each of the colours in the Designer Series Paper Pack in strips using the Slim Cards Die (part of the Slim Sayings Bundle p 52) in the January - June Spring Mini and still going strong for you until June 30th!
I discovered that each of the middle chevron shapes were the same size, so I only needed to die cut part of the shape with each colour of DSP. BUT if you want to make lots of the same card, you could die cut the full strip, then play with alternating colours and make a bunch of cards at once! I die cut the white from Thick Basic White cardstock, the same as I used for the card base which was 8 1/2" x 7"; scored at 3 1/2" making it the perfect size for the Slimline Envelopes in the Spring Mini too (p 53).
I wrapped the die cut layer with three of the Bakers Twine colours and tied a triple bow - the twine is so soft that it will work going through the mail too! My sentiment comes from the new stamp set called Limited Edition that I received for attending OnTour 2022 a virtual training event I attended mid April.

One of our current Sale-a-bration free items is the bright and cheerful Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper pack that was perfect for a card I wanted to send to a friend. She had just lost her fur baby and messaged me that she was now at Rainbow Bridge so this card came to be❤
I liked the idea of the slim card so I could put lots of rainbows on the front, and inside I included a copy of the Rainbow Bridge poem from the internet.
I added a smaller print to the envelope flap and was really happy with the end results. Our pets give us so much love during their lives with us, and this card was a small way for me to honour their love and help my friend remember the good times. If you still have the retired Dog Punch, you can easily adapt this card idea for a pup.
Have you tried the slim cards yet? This base was cut from Thick Basic White 7" x 8 1/2" and scored at 3 1/2" so it fit perfectly in the new Slimline Envelopes featured in the Spring Mini on p 53 as an add-on to the Slim Sayings Bundle. The Slim Sayings Bundle cuts really well with our Adhesive Sheets - a perfect pair!
I cut the DSP with the larger rainbow design on the image lines, then trimmed to fit the card front width.
