Sunday Share - Happy Easter and a Paper Pumpkin News Update

Happy Easter to each of you from us - we hope you have a weekend of relaxing and  sharing happy moments with family and/or friends.

This is a quick post to remind you of all the fun kits that are under the Paper Pumpkin banner in Stampin' Up! and coming up in the next three months. The Add-On will be a perfect match for the kits and June's kit will feature new In Colors from the Annual catalogue. . . . . so read on and sign up so you don't miss out!

Paper Pumpkin has changed it's focus for 2024 and will be introducing kits with a quarterly theme and an Add-On you can purchase that will coordinate with all three kits in the quarter - here's the line-up for April, May and June . . . .

April: Delicate Wings

Partial pop-up butterfly elements are the focus of this month's kit, letting you create elegant cards to send words of encouragement and support to those you love. Do you love butterflies as much as I do??

Your kit includes everything you need to make 9 cards (3 each of 3 designs), with 9 coordinating envelopes. The kit includes precut paper pieces and butterfly designs, plus champagne foil images, sentiments, and labels. The ink spot colour this month is Basic Gray Classic Stampin' Spot and other coordinating Stampin' Up! colours are Basic Beige (a new colour), Basic Black, Lost Lagoon, and Moody Mauve.

May: The Best There Is

These cards have a more manly feel and will be perfect for Father's Day and beyond. This kit coordinates with the Country Woods Designer Series Paper from the NEW 2024-25 Annual Catalogue.

The kits kit includes everything you need to make 9 cards (3 each of 3 designs), with 9 coordinating envelopes. Woodgrain textures and masculine earthy tones are featured in this kit, with precut paper accent pieces and labels. This is going to be a popular kit so don't miss it! A Misty Moonlight Classic Stampin' Spot is also provided, and other coordinating Stampin' Up! colours are Basic Beige, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Pool Party, and Wild Wheat.

June: Life Is Sweet

While we haven't got a look at the In Colors that will be featured on these cards, we do know that it will be a really great kit as the new In Colors are so bright and cheerful. You will be making some textured, artistic cards with this month's kit that will help you celebrate the sweet things in life, featuring the NEW 2024-26 In Color™ Collection.

Your kit includes everything you need to make 9 cards (3 each of 3 designs), with 9 coordinating envelopes. The kit contains iridescent glimmer sentiments and precut paper pieces, plus vellum accents, iridescent pearls, and linen thread. Coordinating Stampin' Up! colours are Lemon Lolly, Pool Party, and Poppy Parade, along with the new In Colors which will be perfect for some fun cheerful cards!

Exclusive Add-On Dies

The Thanks & Beyond Dies add-on will help you take your crafting with your Paper Pumpkin kits even further. Create butterfly partial pop-up elements using both the outline and detailed insert pieces. The hexagon stitched label and "thanks" sentiment dies will also undoubtedly prove themselves useful additions to your craft supplies. These dies coordinate with all three of this quarter's kits. Don't delay ordering as this add-on is offered while supplies last, and is only available to current Paper Pumpkin subscribers.

Pick up a prepaid subscription (1, 3, 6, or 12 months) from my online store, or set up a monthly subscription. The cut-off date to subscribe and receive each month's kit is the 10th of the month, so to receive the April kit, you must subscribe or activate your prepaid code before April 10th.

Thanks so much for being a part of my Stampin' Up! world over the past several years (since early 2011) - while I'm retiring from the business side I will still keep on creating - only now it will be for my personal projects only not for classes or events.  I was honoured that you chose me to share your crafting time and projects with as that kept me motivated to try new techniques and ideas and in turn share them with you. It's truly about the people we meet along our journey and you've been the best!!

Happy Easter and Happy stamping!

Sunday Share - A Sketch For Easter and Retiring Lists!😢😢

If you got my newsletter on Wednesday, then you saw the sketch and card I shared with you - here's a couple more cards I made to send for Easter using the same sketch. I really liked it as it's clean and easy to pull together with any papers, stamps and die cut or punched bits you might have on your desk.

Here's a reminder of the sketch -

And here is the first card I made using the Easter Bunny Stamp Set and coordinating punch . . .so cute! I did fussy cut the butterfly to perch on the bunny's nose and the bunny and background Designer Series Papers are retired but perfect for the card. I added an eye with the Matte Black Dots.

The second card used some almost purple background, so perfect for an Easter card . . . . .

Which one is your favourite??

Here's my links to the retiring lists for the Annual catalogue and the Spring Mini  - lots on sale starting April 9th so make your list and be ready to shop . . .but if you really want something I'd recommend getting it now as it could sell out by the 9th and then you'd be super sad 😢

Sunday Share on Monday - A New Colour Combo Card!

If you read my newsletter last week, you saw the card created with the fun colour combo - Berry Burst, Pool Party and Bubble Bath - who knew Bubble Bath would be a cool colour??
I decided to play with some more colour combos for you using retiring In Colors . . . . as well as reversing the ones from the newsletter. So much fun to play with colour, don't you agree?
Here's the card I made using the reverse of the card sample in my newsletter and I think it turned out just as good as the original! It's really easy to line up the words with the Photopolymer Stamps in the Happy Little Things Stamp set (available in the Online Exclusives section of my store) so you can create multiple cards quickly. The greetings used both the banner dies that can be bundled with the stamps. Very easy to create your cards with both sets!!
This card features three of the retiring In Colors (yes, it's sad when they can't stick around longer!)  and they are Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide and Starry Night. The other two not used this time are Sweet Sorbet and Orchid Oasis.  If you still want any of these colours, I really urge you to shop soon as the retiring list is out later today and they won't last long!!
I also used the Crosshatch Embossing Folder that is part of the set of three "Essentials Embossing Folders" available in the Online Exclusives section of my online store .

You can shop my online store or message/email me to place your orders until the end of March when I am retiring from my Stampin' Up! business. I will keep my store open until mid-April and will be happy to refer you to some amazing demo friends who can help you with your crafting needs going forward. And yes, I'll still be crafting - just taking time to do my own projects!

I hope you try today's variations on last week's card idea. and until next time -

Happy stamping!

Sunday Share - It's a "Memorable Meadows" Paper Pumpkin Kit For March

It's hard to believe we've turned the calendar to March already but it's true . . . . if time flies when we are having fun then we must be having a real blast because this year is sure whizzing by!

Still time to stay cozy inside and work on some fun crafts - Easter is coming the end of this month (super early I know) and the February kit that just arrived is perfect for making some treat holders and cards.

Take a look! These cards and boxes are from our concept artists - my kit only arrived yesterday and I haven't had a chance to work on it yet! But these images gives you a good idea of what you can make with your kits when they come!

What a cute box with all the die cuts in it - and some treats!

Two images of a fun fold card - love the way it flips open . . .

How about this design for a gift card holder?? Fun!!

More than one kind of card with this versatile stamp set - love the soft colours on this baby card!!

This daffodil card would be a perfect "Welcome Spring" card instead of the love die cut - so versatile!!

March's kit should be a great one from the sneak peeks - it coordinates with the Meandering Meadows Suite Collection which are Online Exclusives you can find here!  The banner at the top of the page gives you an idea of the gorgeous papers in the suite and the kit! And you will get an extra FREE Stamp Set as March is also Paper Pumpkin's birthday month!

Subscribe dates are February11 to March 10 2024 and this month is all about cards!

• Makes 9 cards: 3 each of 3 designs with 9 coordinating envelopes

• Precut vellum pieces plus wood embellishments

• Coordinates with the Meandering Meadows Suite Collection (item 162745)

• Coordinating colors: Granny Apple Green, Garden Green (Classic Stampin’ Spot), Balmy Blue, Night of Navy, Gorgeous Grape, Fresh Freesia

Includes a FREE stamp set for Paper Pumpkin’s birthday

Each kit includes a photopolymer stamp set, Classic Stampin’ Spot, and step by step instructions to complete exclusive paper craft projects, including cards, tags, and gift packaging

As a subscriber to the monthly kits, you can also pick up refills of past kits and I've already grabbed on from January and February - they've been great so far this year!

You can still purchase the Love of Spring Dies too that were an add-on to coordinate with each of the first three months. Some cute dies that work with all the kits or created your own card ideas with the stamps from each month and the dies.

And here's a picture of our concept artists using the dies on a card - gorgeous!

Need any basics for your crafting?? Let me know or order online and the products come directly to you. You don't want to end up with no cardstock or adhesives when you are on a cardmaking roll!

Happy stamping!
