This week it's all about the birds - now I must admit that I've not been a huge fan of bird stamps in the past but something about this set and dies as well as the absolutely gorgeous Bird Ballad Designer Series Papers spoke to me and yup - they all got added to my pre-order!!
I did have a bit of a head start as one of the cards we made during April's On Stage event used the papers and stamps so I fell in love with the set right away . . . . here's the card we made - isn't it a great card to give to a friend or send to someone who did something that you want to recognize?? I think a card in the mail is the kind of "happy mail" we can all use!
This year's catalogue makes it super easy to order a whole suite - you only need to write down one number and you've got it all! For the Bird Ballad Suite the number is #152190 (click on the number to order) and here's what you get:
Of course, if you want to pick and choose from the suite, you are welcome to do that too - use this link to see all the coordinating products - I do love the Stitched Nested Labels Dies - they make such an impressive label for your cards or layouts!
The Designer Series Papers are amazing and will work really well with the Bird Ballad Laser-Cut Cards & Tin in the suite. I could go on and on but I think you get the idea that there's lots to love in this suite - order yours now and start creating some fun cards too! Here's a quick video to show you how you can make my featured card too!
Shop here for any of your Stampin' Up! products - I'm so happy when you choose me to be your demonstrator!
Today is the last day of my Catalogue Launch events so if you haven't stopped by then do so today from 1:00 - 4:00 pm! Prizes, make and takes, new products to look at and a new catalogue for you to take home! Love to see you :-) Or shop on line before noon on July 1st and use the Host CodeBJ3F9ZBF to get my make and takes sent to you as a thank you and be part of my draws!
Update - apologies for this not going out yesterday - my scheduling error :-(
At our Stampin' Up! convention in April we got to see and play with new products and order some items ahead of the new catalogue release. I plan to showcase the cards we made and the products we used over the next few posts so you can get your own products and make the cards too!
I love this card featuring the Come Sail Away Bundle (p 145 of the new catalogue) and with so many men in my life, this is a perfect suite of products to make some great cards and layouts too. I think Stampin' Up! must really like this suite of products too because they are featured on the front cover of the new catalogue! We actually used the coordinating Memories & More Cards on the Whisper White Notecards & Envelopes, as well as the coordinating Stamp Set, Twine and Trinkets (and did a bit of fussy cutting too!)
One of the best things in the new catalogue is the layout for seeing and purchasing products - I love how you can get everything you want using just one number - or buy individual items if you want to pick and choose from the suite!
The Come Sail Away Suite Bundle gives you a coordinating
selection of products with one simple item number (#152175). It includes the stamp
set and tool bundle at 10% off plus one each of the other items listed:
The Come Sail Away Suite Bundle includes
* Sailing Home Cling Stamp Set (10% off)
* Smooth Sailing Dies (10% off)
* High Seas 3D Embossing Folder
* Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper
* Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack
* Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Baker’s Twine
* Sail Away Trinkets
Add ink, cardstock, and adhesive to complete your project. There are some great card options for you in the catalogue but I think one of my favourites is the layout below using the Memories & More Cards in the Suite - what a fabulous way to keep and share your memories!
Shop now using this link to get your project going soon - and make a note to visit me this coming weekend for my Catalogue Launch days :

You want to be in on the fun and prizes too and I have your new catalogue waiting for you as you come in!!
Today is the day to feature my friends at The Wesbrooke again - these ladies are such a joy to make cards with and they love going away with some cards they have made by themselves to give to family or close friends . . .
Last month we made two cards - one was definitely pretty and feminine and the other - well the bow ties speak for themselves!
We had lots of laughs while they made the cards and at the end, they wanted to know when I was coming back! I was happy to say that I'm booked right through the summer with dates in June, July and August so everyone left with smiles . . .
Here's the sign that announces I am coming for the afternoon - pretty cool isn't it??
If you are out and about next Sunday - June 23rd - I will be at the Clipper St Garage Sale in Langley with my Retired products - GREAT deals on stamps, dies, punches and bundles as well as Designer Series Papers and maybe some cardstock too! Come and help me clear out so I can make room for the new items!!
And SAVE THE DATES- for my upcoming Catalogue Launch events - can't wait to see you :-) There will be door prizes tickets for coming, another ticket if you bring a friend, another ticket for orders placed at the event, and some treats and a card (or two) to make featuring new products and new colours . . . and pick up your new catalogue!!

Happy stamping!!
It's an exciting time when we get to share the new catalogue with all of you. As a demonstrator, I was able to get my hands on the new catalogue in April when I attended the Stampin' Up! On Stage event in Vancouver - so I've been able to share the catalogue with you in my craft studio as well as some of the pre-order items we could purchase ahead of time.
BUT now - we can buy EVERYTHING on our list and you can too!! If you are a regular customer, and live out of town then I sent a catalogue to you in the mail (please let me know if it hasn't arrived yet) and everyone else - come and see me at any event as I have your catalogue ready for you!
I wanted to share with you cards that I made with my club classes in May - they were so much fun and looked like summer was on the way - I used the Tropical Chic Stamp Set and Tropical Dies and the best news is that you can get these now and create the same cards and more . . . .click here to go directly to my Online store and the order comes to you at home . . . are you ready to make these cards and more??
This card is definitely a #simplestamping card as it took maybe two minutes to stamp and go! I added some quick die-cut flowers to the second sample - and love the effect when I have a bit more time!
This card did take longer than two minutes but it is so worth it - what a gorgeous card to give someone for their birthday or change the greeting to Thank You for a super card to take when you are invited to a BBQ this summer - or when you travel to visit family or friends . . . I received the Thank You card in a team swap and loved it so much I used it for my inspiration for my class card!
Want some Tropical Chic in your life? Here's what they look like and you can order now - from the new catalogue and make the cards too!!
And the next card we made in class is perfect for the men in your life as it is definitely a "guy card"! We made the "brick" wall with Embossing Paste which was new to most of us - and not even messy!
All those gears and the die cut car - lots of fun and the stamps and dies are just a click away . . . take a look at the samples you can make featured in the new catalogue with this set!
Remember you can shop anytime - even when I am traveling by clicking on this link and enter your order - it goes directly to you so you'll be making your own cards in no time!
A new catalogue day is always exciting for us in the Stampin' Up! world - and today is the day for the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue Launch! Friday, June 28 1:00 - 4:00 pm; or 7:00 - 9:00 pm Saturday June 29 1:00 - 4:00 pm Sunday June 30 1:00 - 4:00 pm
Paper Pumpkin is an all inclusive kit that comes to you each month - and Stampin' Up! has been giving us sneak peeks as to what the next month's kit will be - which is making all of us super excited and happy!
Care about someone?? Why not tell them??
Here's the video for June - it's all about cards to share with family, friends, co-workers , your favourite barista or hairdresser - anyone who you want to deliver a note to thank them or bring as smile to their day! Think Random Acts of Kindness (RAKs) times 16 as that's how many mini cards are in this kit!
The June kit makes it easy for subscribers to scatter sunshine this summer—whenever, with whomever. Not only do we give you 16 fun-sized, beach-themed cards and envelopes, but we also provide you with an exclusive carrying case so you’ll always have your cards on hand to share wherever you go. And don’t forget the exclusive stamp set and ink spot that completes every Paper Pumpkin kit! And the coordinating colors are: Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake, and Old Olive
If sending "RAKs" is not your thing, then guess what?? These mini cards can be added to regular card bases to make some full size cards - like a whole bunch of full size cards!
I had a class with the April refill kits in May and everyone loved making the cards from the kit, as well as some "outside the box" cards too! Her's some pictures of my setup before we started the classes!
I managed to order some refill kits from the May "Hugs from Shelli" and will be offering classes to 8 lucky people who sign up first for the classes - to be held once I am home from our holiday after mid-June. Watch for and reply to my email tomorrow to score one of the boxes for you!!
Here's my "unboxing" of my May kit - just a sneak peek!
I'm taking my kit away with me so I can make the cards and have them ready to show you in my classes on my return - it is a great box to take anywhere with you as it includes everything you need - although I do add a mini kit of my scissors (to cut ribbon), Take Your Pick tool and my favourite adhesives.
Here's what's in the refill kit (without the stamps and ink spot) and one lucky person will go home with the stamp set and ink spot from my kit once the classes are done!
Here's the cards you can make from the kit - just beautiful and I will be adding a couple of coordinating cards made with products in the new Annual Catalogue so you can see how gorgeous they are in person!
To get your own Paper Pumpkin kits, click here to sign up - you can suspend your subscription anytime you will be away or won't have time - just do it by the 10th of the month as that's the magic date! Once your kit arrives, you will get an email from Paper Pumpkin with links to blog posts showing alternate ways to use the kit if you like lots of variety - if not make the kit as it comes! There is also an "unboxing" video so you can get an idea how the kit is put together.
Only two more days until the new catalogue goes live - I'm excited and I'm sure you are too!! I can't wait to share new ideas and new products with you at my Catalogue Launch Party near the end of the month - stay tuned for more information next week :-)
