In our travels last week, we visited our family in the West Kelowna and got to see our oldest granddaughter Hayley all dressed up for her high school graduation banquet and dance. She looked absolutely beautiful in her long dress and her special date for the evening was all decked out in his suit and a bow tie to match her dress. The grads did a walk through the park just before their dinner so we could see them in all their lovely outfits - and the weather even cooperated with some sun peaking through the clouds as they walked along the waterfront in Kelowna.
Here's a couple of pictures from our time with her to share with you - and the card and framed art I made for her too . . . .
All dressed up with her dad, younger sister and brother -
And relaxing at our campsite the next day -
Here's her card with a bookmark
And the inspiration frame I made -
That's it for now and it's a wee bit late as I had problems uploading pictures yesterday(the perks of camping!).
Remember to use my Shop Now link anytime to get your products and a reminder that the current catalogue ends May 31st (Thursday) so if you still need last minute products that are retiring get them now!
Happy stamping!

Sunday Share for our long weekend - are you enjoying the sunshine?
We have started our camping holiday in West Kelowna and are sure enjoying the sunshine and warm breezes - it was quite overcast all day Saturday for our granddaughters grad dinner and dance - but the sun did break though just as they did their grad walk around the park for all the families and friends. It was great to see them all dressed up and enjoying the day! Here's a picture of our camping set up once we arrived -
Needless to say, we have been enjoying lots of hugs from our grand-kids - as we share meals and fun times with them. Great that they are off school and work for the long weekend so we get some extra time visiting too!
Here's my cards I am sharing with you this week - they are from my Stamp Club cards we made earlier this month and I know they were happy to make cards ahead for Father's Day in June using the True Gentleman Suite of products (good for any guy occasion coming up) as well as a really pretty card using the Tailored Tag punch (which will be in the new Annual Catalogue coming in June) and the retiring Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper. You can use the idea with any of your patterned papers - a great way to show them off!
Then just for fun, I had them sponge colours on the new Narrow Note Cards & Envelopes that they embossed with the Petal Pair TIEF, so they could see how easy it is to make a really quick card and take along with you as part of a hostess thank you, or even a neighbour's or co-worker's birthday or thank you gift. I have to thank Patty Bennett for the idea that she posted earlier this year . . .
Even though I am travelling, you can still shop for any products you need by using my Shop Now button on the blog, or click here to go directly to my website - remember all retiring products are while supplies last so make sure you pick up the last minute items you don't want to be without before it's too late - don't be that sad face in the mirror . . .
That's it for this week's sharing - hope you are getting some time to create cards, or a scrapbook page and enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Sunday Share - a little bit late!!
We are busy packing to go on a long camping vacation celebrating my hubby's retirement and I completely forgot what day of the week it was! I am going to have to set reminders on my phone calendar so I don't forget while we are travelling. I am sure I will have lots to share with you as we visit so many places in BC, AB and SK before heading back to BC in June. And I hope to have some cards to share too!!
Today's share is about my last month's class at The Wesbrooke in Pitt Meadows where I meet with a group of lovely ladies each month, and we make cards for them to use when they have an occasion to celebrate with family or friends - I usually have one card that can be a "Thinking of You' design and another for birthdays. This month was no exception and they really liked the birthday card that can be used for anyone, of any age. Here's the gang with their creations, and a close up of the cards we made:
They are such a fun group - I love my monthly visits to the The Wesbrooke!!

This card comes together really quickly as you cut a 3" square of Designer Series Paper diagonally to make the triangles, then add the mat with your greeting stamped to coordinate with the cardstock and Designer series Paper. This card used Dapper Denim as the main colour, which is one of the In Colors retiring at the end of May, so get your order in quick with my online store (link here), if you don't want to miss out!
This was a really pretty card to make, and used up some of the retiring Designer Series Paper called Whole Lot of Lovely - it has been great to use for so many cards! You can still use the card as a sketch idea for using up some of your own papers . . . and you know you want to use those papers up (so you can buy more, right???)
Remember while I am travelling in our trailer, you can still shop and have your orders go directly to your home - just click on the link (here) and you are in my store and can set up your account and away you go! I am happy when you can get your orders sent to you anytime (day or night!) you need to replenish your basics, or shop for your wish list items and I send out thank-yous to all my online shoppers at the end of each month - although while we are travelling my May order thanks yous will be sent on our return for the end of June :-). If you have trouble with the online system, send me an email and I'll do my best to help you - subject to WiFi connections, that is!!
Thanks for stopping by today -

Sunday Share - time to Share What You (I) Love!
It's Sunday Share day again - and I promised I would start sharing cards I'm making with the new Share What You Love bundles available to our customers as an Early Release throughout May, and then individually in the new Annual Catalogue starting June 1st!
The biggest bonus to getting one of the bundles now is the FREE products that come with each option - check them all out (click here) and decide which one is for you!
My card share today was made with a few of the new products - take a look and see if you can figure out which ones are new in the picture - pretty easy - as I think it's everything except the Blends!

I am super happy to see some favourite colours returning with the 2018 Colour Revamp (that's a really BIG colour refresh!) and used some Mint Macaron for my card base. I stamped the flower image on some Shimmery White cardstock - in person you can see the shimmer, and then stamped the flowers again on a smaller strip and fussy cut them after colouring with the Rich Razzleberry Blends! I popped the cut flowers onto the stamped ones for some added dimension then added some of the Artisan Pearls to the centre of each flower. The strip of Designer Series Paper is so pretty with the pearlized accents on each sheet - I'll probably be using it on all my cards for awhile! The Designer Series Paper is also extra thick so will make great boxes or 3-D items!
If you are a regular customer of mine and live out of town, then your new catalogue has been ordered and will be on it's way to you. Local customers can pick up their catalogues at my Catalogue Launch event July 5, 6 and 7th. Be sure you are on my customer list by placing your orders with me and I will keep you up to date on all the new products by sending you all the current catalogues.
Enjoy the sunshine and the rest of your weekend - take time to do some creating too!
