Sunday Share - Joyful Flurry For Quick and Fun Snowflake Cards

I'm sharing some really cute cards today that you can whip up in no time - or take a bit longer if you've got the extra time to create . . . . but at this time of year sometimes it's really good to have those quick and easy card ideas so you can make a few whenever you can sit down at your crafting desk.

The Joyful Flurry Bundle is a perfect pick - it comes with a super Stamp Set that has lots of snowflake images and some greetings too and then there's the Dies that work with the stamps, but also have some fun twists to the normal die cuts. Take a look and see how some give you the chance to lift the images for a 3-D effect - cool isn't it?? You can order the bundle at this link!

I picked one of the smaller snowflakes to stamp on my first card - it's all stamping except for the greeting label which I die cut - but just as easy to trim it on your own if you don't have a die cutting machine or don't want to bring it out for the cards.  I made it a slim-line card which works well with our Slimline Envelopes in the Annual Catalogue - picked the white one and added a strip of the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper that I used as one of the layers on my cards.

I used Pacific Point, Coastal Cabana, Pool Party and Fresh Freesia inks for my snowflakes.

My second card took advantage of the coordinating dies in the bundle - so quick to stamp then die cut for some extra dimension to my card. I did use the same Storybook Gnomes DSP and added some Snowflake Specialty Vellum to soften the look before popping the snowflakes with some Dimensionals. My hit of bling comes from some White Glimmer Paper die cut snowflakes which really ups the sparkle on the card!

Here's a quick video from Stampin' Up! to show you a bit more of this bundle -  if you are reading this in my newsletter then click here to go to my blog where you can find the video!
