Yes, it's Sale-a-bration time again and just in time for us to shop in the new Holiday Mini Catalogue (really known as the July-December 2022 Mini) and earn FREE products like this fabulous bundle of stamps and Designer Series Papers . . . .
Take a look at the video from Stampin' Up! to learn some of the background in the creation of this classy duo! If you are reading this in my newsletter and it doesn't play for you, then click to my blog link and you can get to it from there 😉
Isn't that cool that they have taken flowers from around the world and added them into the designs? I knew I loved the papers when I first saw them, but it was even better once I knew some of the history that went into creating the papers. You can see all the designs here - what's your favourite?
I had so much fun making cards from the different papers - here's some of the ones I made recently -
This card started with a Flirty Flamingo Fabulous Frames Die cut and some Blending Brushes for the background in the same colour. Then I picked a floral image from one of the Designer Series Papers in the pack and fussy cut the image to coordinate with my background. The greeting was stamped then die cut using the Charming Sentiments bundle - love the way the dies coordinate with all the sentiments!! I added a strip of one of the smaller designs to my envelope flap - super quick card and so pretty!! I think I might add some of the Patel Pearls in pink to my card - what do you think?
This next card was a fun idea I saw from a newsletter stampin' friend and it turned out so cute and was super quick too . . . . simply stamp the rose image in the Wonderful World stamp set in a circle. I started with the lighter Highland Heather ink colour and did one at the top with the stem into the middle - then I did around the circle kind of like compass points (N, E, S, W) all in Highland Heather. I then filled in between each flower image with the darker Gorgeous Grape and covered the messy centre area with a Gorgeous Grape Cardstock label die cut from All That Dies then added the greeting stamped and die cut from the Charming Sentiments Bundle. I ran the layer through the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder, glued it to a Highland Heather Cardstock layer and popped it all onto a Thick Basic White card base. More Pastel Pearls (added after the picture - sorry!) on the front of the card and some DSP on the envelope flap to coordinate!
My last card to share is so quick and easy to do - I picked one of the Wonderful World Designer Series Papers in the pack with small images and punched a bunch of them with my Rectangular Postage Punch then popped three of them onto one of the Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes. These are a super timesaver to have on hand and the In Color designs coordinate so well with many of our Designer Series Papers too! I picked the Orchid Oasis card base for my card today and loved how it worked with the floral images . . . I added a punched rectangle in Basic White and stamped my "Best Wishes" on it in Orchid Oasis Ink (from Artistically Inked stamp set) then added some In Color Matte Decorative Dots and Bakers Twine to finish that card. This card was done in no time!
