I made my monthly visit to The Wesbrooke a week ago, and we had a full house in the crafting area! So great to see so many come out to make cards with me . . . . I do enjoy my crafting time with these ladies and they have so much fun making their cards for some special person in their life!
The first card we made was a bit different with the narrow front fold - they had no trouble at all following my guide and making the cards! I used some retired Christmas papers for the plaid, but coordinated them with Gray Granite and Cherry Cobbler Cardstock. The small metal embellishment came from my stash and looks just right on the greeting from the Peaceful Moments stamp set in the Spring Mini.
The next card used some of the awesome designs in the See a Silhouette Designer Series Paper in the Annual Catalogue as well as the poppy image from the fabulous Painted Poppies stamps in the Spring Mini Catalogue. If you love bright colours, then you will want to get a pack of this paper soon! It coordinates with so many of our cardstock colours - you will have a hard time choosing which ones to use! I used Rich Razzleberry on this card, and a touch of Flirty Flamingo with the ribbon (from my retired stash).
It's birthday month for our grandkids so this is the first one I made . . . love the way it holds the gift card inside one of the folds. If you haven't checked out the Birthday Bonanza Suite then this is your chance and you can soon be making cards like this one! If you need directions, then send me a quick message and I'll help you out!
You can shop at my online store (click here) any day/any time as it's open whenever you need to place your order. I send thank you gifts at the end of each month to my online shoppers - I do appreciate you choosing to shop with me!!
Here's a picture of my class at the seniors residence - see what I mean about happy faces??
