Sunday Share - Birthday and Christmas Cards at The Wesbrooke

A quick post today to share with you the cards my ladies made at The Wesbrooke last week. They are always in need of birthday cards for the residents, and this time everyone made one to help fill the birthday box so they have a few ahead . . . .

Here's the birthday card we made - with an option for Thank You if you want to change it up! The Designer Series Paper is retired, but everything else is currently available in my on line store so you can shop (click here) and re-create the card idea at home.

The Christmas card we made was really popular and they all told me it's never too early to start card making for the holidays! Next month we will get to make some more!!

Once everyone had completed their cards, I handed out some small "Trick or Treat" bags which were greeted with lots of smiles . . . . I love going to visit the ladies and making cards with them!

If you think you will be short of time, try making cards from one of our awesome kits! They have everything you need except adhesives and you can spend a relaxing evening or afternoon making your cards - what a great feeling it is to have some cards ready to give next time you have a special occasion!

Sunday Share - All Is Bright Suite for beautiful projects!

I really love the new Holiday Catalogue so much - there are so many great ideas inside the covers as well as awesome products for you to add to your craft supplies so you can explore new card and 3 D ideas . . .  I loved the All Is Bright Suite of products so much, that I featured the stamp set and punch for one of my Make and Takes at my recent Open House event!  Doesn't this page from the catalogue put you in the holiday mood?

I used some of the gorgeous paper for a class we did that showed how to take a stamp set from the Annual Catalogue (Serene Garden) and turn it into a Christmas themed one - sometimes all you need is different paper and trimmings and you've got a whole new look!

Sunday Share - delayed to give you updates!

Here's my planned post for Sunday and then read down to see the updates for October 1st!

I had another fun visit to The Wesbrooke in Pitt Meadows, where my group of ladies made a couple of cards each to add to the birthday box at the residence - everyone's birthday is recognized and they all appreciate the cards when it is their turn to celebrate their special day :-)

And here's the cards we made for the birthday box - they do like bright and cheery cards and are getting super fast at putting my kits together . . .  I may have to start figuring out some more complicated designs! Thanks everyone at The Wesbrooke for another great visit!
