Some Sneak Peeks at Canada Inks Up! Team Blog Hop

Do you like looking at the new In Colors before the new catalogue is in your hands? I know I do - it's one of the first things I look for when we get the PDF version online ahead of time!!  Today we are sharing ideas from the new catalogue in our Sneak Peeks Blog Hop so relax, grab your favourite cup or mug and enjoy the tour!

My inspiration for my card today came from some scraps I had left on my desk from another project, and the fact that I wanted to share some new products that are all about the new In Colors - for my card base I used the new Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes, choosing the bright Starry Night one for this card. 

I added a Basic White layer embossed with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder in the Sun Prints Suite . . . .  and then I made some scrap strips from the Tea Boutique 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper - it's  a perfect match for the card bases as it includes all the new In Colors!! 

I used my new Limited Edition Stamp Set for the sentiments on the card front, and die cut them with the Beautiful Shapes Dies in the current Spring Mini (and carrying over into the new Annual Catalogue!). I added a couple of Silver Foil die cuts and some new In Color Matte Decorative Dots to finish off my card. 

My strips of DSP were cut from a piece 3 1/2" x 3 1/4" as follows: 1/2"; 3/4"; 1"; 3/4"; 1/2" all by 3 1/4". then I laid them out in a random pattern and used Stampin' Seal to glue them onto the Basic White embossed piece (3 1/4" x 4 1/2").
