It's another Canada Inks Up! Team Blog Hop today and we are showing you some birthday card ideas. Check out all the awesome creativity using the links at the end of my page!
I don't know about you, but I'm always needing more birthday cards, so it's fun to sit down and make a few so I can grab one when I need it - except for those special occasion ones that happen so often - then I do make one just for that special milestone!
Today I'm sharing a card I made with my ladies at our local seniors residence earlier this week - they needed some more cards for their birthday box and this one fit the bill for a generic style that will be good for anyone. They really liked the fun fold too - I used retiring Harvest Meadow DSP strips (it's still available!) and Kraft 6" x 6" Paper run through the Bark Embossing Folder to add texture. I was also asked to create a girly one which we did using lots of retired products (which is nice to do when you can!)
And I mentioned those special occasion cards you need? Well I needed this one for later that same day to give to a friend who loves his scotches so thought it was a fun one to make using the Whiskey Business Stamps.
Since we don't have any number stamps right now, I decided to make a stencil using the Playful Alphabet Dies and then used my Blending Brushes to add the number randomly over the card front and then inside too. He loved it!!
Do you still have some items on your wish list from the 2021 Holiday Mini?? Check out the Last Chance items before they are gone for good (last day is January 3rd) and if you are shopping with me, please use my current Host Code NPCJKCXS so I can track your orders and send my thank you at the end of the month. I can also place orders for you - just email or message me to help you get your supplies! Next group order will be going in December 30th 😉
Have a wonderful Christmas and New Years - looking forward to 2022 and what it will bring to each of us!!
Happy stamping!
