Sunday Share - Some Quick and Easy Last Minute Tags For You!!

 Good morning! I was busy getting ready to watch the Grey Cup Game with friends yesterday and completely forgot to schedule my post so it would be there for you to see! So here it is a day late!

If you need to make a few tags for gifts or to package up and give as a fun hostess gift - then follow along here and you will have some made in a jiffy! I call it 10 tags in 10 minutes but it might take longer if you have to choose which patterned papers you want to use . . .  just a note on paper choices . . . . . either pick ones with allover patterns or make sure you have each strip right side up for cutting before you glue it to the base 😉 I almost had upside down reindeer the first time I made these!

Here's how to make 10 tags in 10 minutes . . . .   

Start with one sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" Basic White cardstock.  Cut two strips 1 1/4" x 10" of your favorite Christmas DSP (I used Painted Christmas DSP) and 10 x 6" pieces of Bakers Twine (or ribbon, whatever you like). 

Cut the cardstock so that it measures 7" x 10".

                                        

Adhere the two strips of DSP to the two longs edges of the cardstock (watch for design right side up!). Cut the cardstock down the middle so that each side now measures 3-1/2" x 10".

Stack the two pieces so that you can cut them into tag size two at a time (may not work depending on your trimmer, thickness of Cardstock and patterned papers so you can just do one layer at a time).  They will measure 2" x 3-1/2".  (Note:  I cut mine just slightly under 2" so that I can easily slide them into my punch).

Punch the top of each tag with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch.  

Stamp the "To" and "From" on each tag. I used the stamp from Snowman Season for my tags and Evening Evergreen for the ink.

Finally, thread the centre loop of Bakers Twine or ribbon (Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon also used) through the hole and pull the ends through your loop.  Done 😊!
