Hi everyone - at my monthly Craft and Chat events, I share some ideas for making quick and easy cards that are meant to help you use up some of your patterned papers aka Designer Series Papers (DSP). Why would I share these cards? Well, if you use up all your Designer Series Papers, then you are going to want more, aren't you?? And I'm happy to help you replenish your supply! Win-win for both of us!! LOL! 😍 And with Sale-a-bration on until September 30th there are lots of special papers you can earn for FREE!!
This first group of cards shown above are done by cutting 3 pieces of coordinating patterns each 3 3/4" x 5". You then cut each piece on the angles as shown in the first picture, and then mix and match - super quick and super easy! Punch a label and stamp a greeting and you have added three more cards to your box ready for any occasion! And if you aren't sure what you will use the cards for, wait until you need one and add the greeting at the last minute - or stamp a few greetings ahead to grab and go!
The sketch idea used for the two cards above is from one of my summer newsletters in case you missed it and uses some coordinating patterns from the Hand-Penned DSP and stamping and embossing with lots of colour contrast in my purple card to create the texture and layers . . . . and this sketch will work for any season too. How cute are the little penguin and snowman on the card below?? It's all done with different bits of Designer Series Paper die cut using the Layering Circles Dies. You can get the fun Penguin Playmates DSP for FREE until September 30th with any $60 purchase from either the Holiday Mini or Annual catalogue and FREE is awesome!
Need some basics to be ready for your holiday crafting? It's a great time to stock up when you can earn FREE products just for buying cardstock for card bases, adhesives or any of your regular purchase needs. Of course, you can also shop for all the fun bundles, papers and embellishments in the Holiday Mini too - and earn FREE items just for shopping your wish list! When you shop online (click here) remember to use my current Host Code BDZX4JMC also found at the top of the right sidebar so you can't forget! Using the Host Code helps me track orders, and send my thank yous at the end of each month!!
Want to join my Craft and Chat events on Zoom? They are the 2nd Tuesday each month at 7:00 pm. Maybe you'd like to try my Zoom Technique Club Classes on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm. I send invites to those in my email list so do let me know you want to join - you can also get links on my events page a week before each date.
Can't wait to share some more ideas with you - until next time . . .
Happy stamping!
Ginny
