Canada Inks Up! Team Blog Hop with Pretty Pumpkins

Today's Canada Inks Up! Team Blog Hop theme is "Anything but Christmas" so I reached for my Pretty Pumpkins Bundle and then I spied my Sparkle of The Season Bundle and decided to use both!

The Detailed Pumpkins Dies have a lovely lacy die that I have used before, but combining the smaller one with the fall wreath image and mini pumpkins in the Seasonal Swirl Dies makes for a great card I think . . . . and I hope you like it too!

The card base is Very Vanilla Cardstock, and I glued a layer of Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper to the front of my card base. I embossed a piece of Cajun Craze Cardstock with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder, then distressed the edges. I stamped the pumpkin images on Very Vanilla CS in Cajun Craze Ink, then did a wee bit of colouring with my Soft Succulent Blends on the leaves. I die cut the large pumpkin, two smaller ones and the swirly wreath from the Bronze Brushed Metallic Cardstock (so happy it carried over from last year!) The greeting is stamped in Cajun Craze too and die cut using the Tasteful Labels Dies - one of my go-to die sets!

I love making fall cards as the colours are so vibrant and remind me of growing up in Montreal where we had lots of maple trees in our area and in the mountains too.
