It's a SALE-a-bration Blog Hop - Inspiration For You!

How exciting is it to have a second Sale-a-bration event this year - and one that includes our hot-of-the-press July-December 2021 Mini Catalogue??  I know I can't wait to share some of the fun products with you and my blog hop friends are just as happy to showcase their favourite picks too!!

I chose to share a couple of cards made with the Feels Like Home stamp set which is FREE with a $60 purchase from my store. It pairs so well with some basic Designer Series Papers you may already have and can be a #simplestamping card or jazzed up to take it to the next level.

My first card could be #simplestamping if I wanted to - the image was stamped on Shimmery White cardstock in Sahara Sand and looked pretty good on its own. But then I decided to CASE the card in the SAB Flyer so I used the Meadow Moments Embossing folder on the stamped piece then cut it into strips and glued it to a piece of Neutrals Collection DSP. My colour palette is a Sahara Sand regular card base with a bit of Pale Papaya cardstock for the greeting label (Tasteful Labels Dies) and stamped in Calypso Coral. The ribbon is Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon and I added some Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots (from the new Mini!) to the card.

For my next card I decided to try a soft watercolour wash on the Shimmery White cardstock. I used my clear block as a palette inked in Soft Succulent (just press the block to your ink pad) and then gradually added colour to the wet cardstock with my Water Painters until I had the light wash I was going for.  I dried it with my Heat Tool and let it sit for a bit before stamping my image right over the top of the now dry wash. I then distressed the edges of the cardstock and glued it to a piece of Soft Seafoam DSP from the Subtles Collection. That section was popped with Dimensionals onto the Sahara Sand card base. I added a few Metallic pearls and some Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon. The greeting was stamped in Soft Succulent on a Soft Seafoam cardstock strip.

The greetings in this stamp set are perfect for many different cards and the line drawings on the images can be coloured or left as I have done . . .  I hope you pick this set as one of your free items during Sale-a-bration this fall - please share what you make with me!!
