Canada Inks Up! Team Blog Hop - It's Sale-a-bration Time!!

It's so much fun to join my Canada Inks Up! teammates in today's Blog Hop. I can't wait to see what they are sharing as I always get some great ideas on how to use the latest products. The new Holiday Mini Catalogue is extra special this year because we have a fall Sale-a-bration flyer too for the first time ever! 

I'm featuring the Penguin Playmates Designer Series Papers from the Sale-a-bration flyer today, along with the Cloche Shaker Domes and Subtle Shimmer Sequins from the Holiday Mini so you can see how much fun it is to pair up different bundles to come up with a very cool shaker card!

My card base is Just Jade cardstock, with the dotted side of the Penguin Playmates DSP front and centre. I fussy cut the little animals for inside my Cloche Shaker Dome and added some die cut trees and the base to ground the dome from the Cloche Dies. The greeting is from the Penguin Place stamps. I added a strip of the paper to the flap on my envelope, and to the inside of my card. I also cut out one of the little foxes and added him inside for some fun!

Here's another card I made using the FREE Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper for the background. I was showing my club class last night how to do some watercolour backgrounds using the FREE Sala-a-bration Textures & Frames Stamps and stamped the image from the Snowman Season over the top when it dried - this set is a carryover in the Annual Catalogue that's been a favourite. I added some of the new White Glitter Organdy Ribbon to the watercoloured piece for some sparkle! Inside I stamped a greeting from the stamp set, and the little snowman that looks like he's made from mini marshmallows!
