TIPS: You can make the house treat box longer to fit bigger candies or gifts. Keep the 1-1/4" width the same and increase the 2-1/2" length to your preferred size. The score lines measurements will remain the same at 1/8" along the long sides and 3/4" along the 1-1/4" sides.

I cased my card ideas from the card above on p 11 in the August - December 2020 Mini for a team challenge, and realized it was a great design to show off the different seasons in the Festive Post Stamp Set and the Plaid Tidings 6" x 6" Designer Paper Pack. All the focal greetings or images can be punched with the Rectangular Postage Punch in the Annual Catalogue so "win win" for me!! The Plaid Tidings DSP has an awesome variety of designs for any occasion  too!

Do you like making Halloween cards?? They are so much fun to make, but sadly our grandkids are getting older so it won't be long before I have no one special to make cards for, and send treats to help them celebrate . . . 

Christmas is definitely coming (a little over three months away!) and it's never too soon to start making cards to share with family and friends - so important to put a card in the mail especially if we aren't able to be with them in person this year. We really don't know where this pandemic will take us by December so connecting with cards is one way to be sure we stay in touch.  This card features the Red Velvet Paper Pack too embossed with the Greenery Embossing Folder.

In the New Year we will be thinking ahead to Valentines Day so this set comes to the rescue with a pretty card idea that I took from the boxed treat on p 63 and made it into a card!

TIPS: The Take Your Pick Tool (#144107) with the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip (#149655) can be helpful when using detailed dies. Dies work best when they are clean with no paper pieces stuck in them. The Die Brush helps to easily remove paper from dies with detailed designs and small cut-out areas.

Sunday Share - Celebration Tidings Makes Great Projects!

 

PLAID TIDINGS SUITE

I'm often asked about the best all around stamp set or which stamp set a new stamper should start with. You know I love stamps, so I'd never say that there is one stamp set that covers all the bases, but the new August-December 2020 Mini Catalogue does have a stamp set is about as close as it gets. I think you'll love the Celebrations Tidings stamp set that is part of the Plaid Tidings Suite on p 56.

If you are new to stamping, the Celebration Tidings stamp set is a great place to start since it has greetings and images that span the holidays and occasions from Autumn through to Valentine's Day.

If you are an avid stamper, like me, you won't want to overlook this gem. Add on the coordinating Celebration Labels Dies and Plaid Tidings 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper and they'll bring you tidings of joyful creativity. Heat embossing and colouring techniques are ideal for this suite!

The tutorial I'm sharing later this week features an interchangeable, multi-season, decor frame. This frame would make an amazing gift. Who do you know that would love to display this in their home? I can think of a bunch of people on my gift list!
