Sunday Swaps - sharing a card I made or one I received!

Hi everyone -

Each week I am sharing a card with you that you can use for inspiration or copy it exactly - it's up to you!

Today's card is a swap card I sent recently to a group of Canadian demonstrators using products from the Annual Catalogue (AC for short) as well as the new Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalogues. I love to remind myself that there are great products all year round in our AC as well as in the featured seasonal catalogues!

Berry Burst Cardstock base #144243 - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4";

Myths & Magic 6" x 6" Glimmer Paper #145601 - 2" square die cut with Sweet & Sassy Framelits #141707; as were the Whisper White and Berry Burst hearts.
Party Pandas Stamp Set #147221 (clear) FREE with $60 purchase during Sale-a-Bration.
The Panda Bear was stamped with Basic Black Archival Ink #140931 for the best impression and the two greetings on the hearts with Berry Burst Classic Stampin' Pad #144083
I added some of the new and super easy to use Tutti-frutti Adhesive Backed Sequins #145609 to the card for some fun colour!

Celebrate You during Sale-a-Bration

Hi everyone - don't you love the samples shown on my newsletter earlier this week? The Stampin' Up! artists sure know how to create some awesome ideas using the new dies and stamp sets!

and here's what I made after looking at their ideas, and making my own version . . .  the background wash is Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight and Peekaboo Peach inks, added with the Aqua Painter.  The greeting add-on is from Picture Perfect Birthday - a really fun stamp set in the Occasions Catalogue!

Once I made this card, it was a quick step to create a second card with the watercoloured die cut - and some of the DSP from the Picture Perfect Party Birthday Stack -

Here's what you will need to make the cards with a link to my store so you can recreate the cards at home!

Card #1 - Whisper White cardstock base, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4 + 1/2" x 3" strip for greeting ; Bermuda Bay cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"; Watercolor Paper 3 3/4" x 5" + 1 1/2" x 6" strip to stamp bows. Ink colours are Pool Party + Bermuda Bay; Peekaboo Peach + Pumpkin Pie; Daffodil Delight + Pumpkin Pie. Add some Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to the bows, and Rhinestone Basic Jewels for your bling!

Card #2 - Whisper White cardstock base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at  4 1/4"; Basic Black cardstock 2" x 4 1/4" + scrap for die cut "You"; Picture Perfect Party Paper Stack 1 1/2" x 4 1/4" + plus a 2" x 6" strip to decorate your envelope flap, and some Rhinestone Basic Jewels for your sparkle!

You can see all my ideas up close when you come to my Catalogue Launch party next week - either Thursday January 25 from 1 -3 pm or 7 -9 pm; or on Sunday January 28 from  1 - 3 pm. You can pick up the new catalogue and flyer, make a card, nibble on some treats, visit with friends and have a great break from your routine day/evening! Here are some sample cards I made at a recent team event where some demonstrators shared products they received early when they went to On Stage in Salt Lake City in November last year - the new products are going to fit right in with your stamping needs - isn't that little rabbit adorable?? He's called Sweet Little Something.  My friend Melva demonstrated it as she won the stamp set - and then I got the card from her in a swap!!  And the Bubble Over Bundle look like so much fun to make some great summer cards - did you notice the FREE Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper on the card? Love the colours - have to get it!! The Petal Palette Suite has the bird and branches - so many beautiful images and framelits to match - and that White Organza Ribbon - is a definite keeper!

Stamparatus reservation countdown - only 4 more days!
