Time to get ready for all those birthdays or special occasions!

Happy New Year to you . . . .  and if you are anything like me, once you turned the calendar to the new year, you realized that there is a whole lot of birthdays coming up, not to mention some anniversaries, grads, and maybe even some new babies??

Here's a couple of sneak peeks at cards made with some of the amazing new products that you will put on your list right away! I made the cards at a team meeting last weekend where we got to play with other demonstrators and learn "what's new" - so much fun! And I have my first order here so you can see, touch and play too! My favourite new item for quick glam and glimmer is the Wink of Stella pen/brush that comes in clear or gold - I sure hope that Stampin' Up! gets more colours - love them and what they do for a card!

I belong to a swap group that exchanges cards monthly and for January we had to make a card using one or more of the new products - how many can you find in these samples below?? Can't wait to show them to you in person :-)

Christmas is Coming! Are you ready??

Oh My Goodness - my countdown calendar says 15 days to Christmas - so time is going fast! And I've got two things to help you with your to-do list!!

FIRST - I'm sharing some last minute cards I have made in the past few days in case you need some quick ideas to finish off your cards for family, friend, co-workers and everyone else on your "I've been good this year" list! Like the ideas??  - then make them smaller for gift cards or tags if you don't need full size cards!

The first three cards "happened" because I am trying to use up my Designer Series papers (so I can buy more next year, of course!), along with that fabulous Subtle Stripes Satin Ribbon in the Holiday Catalogue.  And check out that cute reindeer clip with the enamel dot for his nose - so much fun!

The "Rudolph" card I saw on Pinterest and knew I had to adapt it and use those antlers that came in the Wonderland Stamp Set - they are so cute!! Did you know you can colour our Rhinestones with a Sharpie marker or alcohol markers? So easy to get just the right colour - of course I used Real Red for the nose!

SECOND - And to help us finish off our projects (cards, tags, Christmas (or New Years) table decorations and place cards), Stampin' Up! announced today that they are having a year end clearance on-line so you can shop at home, and have your order sent directly to your house in time to finish off all your projects (or to buy at special prices so you have what you need ready for next year - kinda like an early Boxing Day sale!).

Many products I used in these cards are either on the year end clearance sale or in the Holiday Catalogue retired list - so check it out and get them while they are still available - once they are gone, they are gone and I don't want YOU to be the one with the sad face!

Christmas Card Stamp a Stack events - mark YOUR Calendar now!

It's coming closer - the holiday season that is - and you know you will want to have some cards made to give to your special friends and family - so take a look at all the dates I am in my studio and book your times now! My events are always listed in my website link and I'm adding them below at the end of this post.

My Stamp a Stack events are super easy, lots of fun and will get you into the holiday spirit while you tick another project off your to-do list! And you can't beat the price -  2 cards/$5.00 and make as many styles as there are kits available - how easy is that?? There will also be some tag options available - super easy to make lots for your special gifts!

Make it Mondays are my regular monthly drop in evenings where you make some cards to add to your box so you always have cards on hand for any event. Keep the 3rd Monday of each month open and let me know you are coming so I have some kits ready for you . . . . and just like the special Christmas/Holiday events, my studio fee is only 2 cards/$5.00.
