Sneak Peeks of the Holiday Mini With Canada Inks Up! Team Blog Hop!

 

It's a fun Blog Hop today with my teammates at Canada Inks Up! as we share some new products coming July 1st in the Holiday (July - December) 2022 Mini Catalogue. That's right - with the Spring Mini retiring June 30th we are already looking ahead to the next season of products geared to making our Holiday themed projects special. At first glance my choice seemed like it's definitely for fall but I'm showing you in my cards that we can use our products for any season by changing up our colours and picking different embellishments. I am using Soft Seedlings Stamp Set on p 53 - take a look at my first card with summer colours for the maple leaf image and seedpod stamps. 

This stamp set is one of the Distinktive™ sets meaning we can get lots of depth in our images with only light inking. I've used Soft Succulent for my card base and for the stamped images. The contrasting strip of Designer Series Paper is one of the Silver pieces in the Sale-a-bration FREE "Silver & Gold Specialty Paper" packs. 

I added some Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon to my Tailor Made Tags die cut and a few Opal Rounds to finish off this card. The greeting is from the Soft Seedlings stamp set and is stamped in Memento Black ink. 

This next card is stamped in more traditional fall colours with a Cajun Craze card base. I stamped the maple leaf and seedpod images in Pumpkin Pie ink and added extra colour by using my Sponge Dauber inked with Cajun Craze. I used the Gold Stripe DSP from Sale-a-bration on this card to give the warmer fall look.  Did you notice the fun Kraft Leaf embellishments? They are part of a combo package called Leaf Labels & Amber Gems coming in the Holiday Catalogue - perfect to add to my second card.  

I did a bit of stamping inside on the Basic White layer and again a stamped image on the corner of the envelope . . . . I hope you like my sneak peeks for today - I can't wait to share the Holiday Mini catalogue with you soon!  Meanwhile here's the cover so you know what to look for!
