Good Morning to my Stamping Friends! Welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop!
Todays' colour challenge really had me going through all my Designers Series Papers to find some that had Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green and/or Melon Mambo . . . and did you know there are NONE with Bermuda Bay in the current catalogue (unless you go for the Brights 6" x 6" pack)?? And then my eye landed on the Rainbow Glimmer Paper and bingo! I had two of the three Yay!!
Here's my card using the Rainbow Glimmer Paper peaking behind a Basic White layer die cut from the Picture This Dies - I really like these dies for different effects, and they make a great template to use with your Blending Brushes too! The circles and rectangles that are cut out are perfect for using with greetings on your cards or can be saved for adding layers to another card idea . . . .
I added some punched flowers and leaves from the Flowers of Friendship bundle - really love when we can get stamps and punches together, don't you?? For the flowers I used Basic White cardstock stamped in Melon Mambo, Melon Mambo cardstock and Granny Apple Green cardstock for the leaves. The bling came from the Holiday Rhinestone Jewels - I used the Coastal Cabana ones. The card base is a standard size using Melon Mambo. Stamp a floral edge on your envelopes and you have a fun card to send to a friend on their special day!
