Well Suited Designer Series Papers Suit This Sketch!

I'm playing along with the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches again this week - it seemed to be calling me to make a card for one of the many guys in my life so I turned to the Well Suited Designers Series Papers in the January - June Mini Catalogue

I really liked the clean look by pairing the grey pinstripe pattern for the background with the bold stripe from the reverse side for the smaller panel on the front! And of course I had to add some more grey pinstripes to the envelope flap!

I used the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder to add some more texture to the card front and I found the perfect sized birthday greeting in Enjoy The Moment Stamp set and die cut it using one of the Tasteful Labels Dies. I chose the Pacific Point ink to bring out the bright blue in the papers - and wrapped the strip with some of the coordinating Grey Twine from the Suite. I then added a few Matt Black Dots for my final embellishments.

Thanks for looking at my card today and if you live in Canada, I'd love to help you make some fun cards too so you can share happy mail with family and friends. It's a great way to keep in touch and let people know you are thinking of them! Use my shop now links on this page or contact me to get you started!

My February Host Code is UKMBTRYF and it's good until noon February 24th - if you use it I can track your order and send you a thank you!

Happy stamping

Ginny
