September is here - time to get creating!!

Hi everyone!

I'm so excited that the 2017 Holiday Catalogue is here! And from what I am hearing, you are getting excited too . . .

I can't wait for you to see all the great new stamps, papers, ribbons and creative tools available for you. You can view the 2017 Holiday Catalogue at my online store, or download the catalogue from the image to the right. If you are an out of town customer of mine, I have mailed you one - if you are local to our Maple Ridge area, please stop by at one of my events to get yours! You really will want your own copy so you can take in the amazing and fun ideas and gorgeous samples.

My Catalogue launch event is coming soon! I will have samples and new products so you can see for yourself how awesome they are. Don’t want or need all the products – then check out the many kits as they have everything you need to make some gorgeous cards with only adhesive, inks and stamps required (and some kits have it all!) Watch for your email invitation 🙂

I still have some Retired Products for sale in my Stampin' Studio, so let me know when you want to come by and take advantage of all the bargains - most items are 50% off – it’s definitely worth taking a look!

Check out this link to sign up for our Ronald McDonald House fundraiser - you won't want to miss it on Saturday, October 14th - and now that September is here, tickets are going fast!!

Remember to sign up for your Paper Pumpkin kit at 50% off - only until September 10th!! The kits are so much fun - you won't want to miss out! You can even buy refills of kits you love once you are a member! Click on the link for easy sign up!

Make it Mondays starts again September 18th – from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Although this is a “drop-in” style of event, please let me know you are coming so I prepare enough kits for you and your friends! Cost is $5.00 to make the featured cards or free with any $25 order. You can send me an email or text, or message me on Facebook. This is a fun way to add cards to your box so you are ready for any event . . . plus you can take them home as samples to recreate with your own products - win/win!!

Can’t wait to see you and share the fun 😊

As the summer heat cools into fall I wanted to share a project in my Newsletter featuring one of the new stamp sets from the 2017 Holiday Catalogue. You'll be glad to have a go-to stamp set, like Painted Harvest, to spark your creativity. I know sunflowers are usually yellow tones - but I am having fun making different flowers with other colours - try it yourself!

Painted Harvest Stamp Set
The new Painted Harvest stamp set makes this card bloom with personality. Don't let this gorgeous card fool you, it's easy to create with just a few supplies. You can make something that looks amazing, but doesn't take a ton of work, especially with this stamp set. It's just what I look for when I want to make a bunch of cards quickly. Follow these few steps to make it now!

Stamp Inside Card
Score 5-1/4" x 8" Whisper White cardstock at 4" on 8" side. Ink larger flower layer with Marina Mist. Stamp off.
Stamp on inside top right corner. Stamp small flower layer with Dapper Denim.

Stamp Card Front
Stamp leaves with Lemon Lime Twist & Wild Wasabi. Stamp flower center and dots with Lemon Lime Twist.
Fold card and repeat stamping steps on card front.
Leave top right corner blank. Fill in with Wild Wasabi leaves for variety.

Fold Corner
Fold top right corner down towards the center of the card. The fold should be about 2-3/4" to 3" from the top on the right edge.
Use the Bone Folder to neatly crease the fold into place.

Final Touches
Adhere the corner flap down. Stamp greeting with Dapper Denim ink.
Adhere folded card piece to 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" Dapper Denim cardstock.
Add a gold circle Metallic Enamel Shape to the tip of folded corner to finish the corner fold effect.

Try the idea with another stamp set and be sure to let me know how you did!

Happy Stamping!

Ginny
