Here's a really quick layout I did (digitally with Project Life) while camping on Easter weekend - it was the best way to highlight the blue sky days and the daffodils that mean Easter in our home! I was so busy adding pictures I forgot to add a text box - I'll fix that later!
Project Life and Stampin' Up! have so many ways to help you get your pictures onto pages, along with the stories that make the layouts so special for everyone to enjoy - and now you can get some of the retiring Project Life products at sale prices so click on my link and shop away! You'll be glad you did and your families will love that you made some time to showcase their events!
I was so happy to be part of the Honour House fundraiser on April 22nd - 42 wonderful stamping friends came together along with 4 of my best demonstrator friends (Alison Solven, our organizer, Liane Binder, Melva Peters, and Ange McKay) and raised over $3600 for Honour House - check out their story here! It's a wonderful way to give back to those who spend their lives being on the front line for all of us . . .
I used the Dragonfly Dreams Stamp Set and framelits - here is a picture of my storyboard and the card we made, along with a couple of close up samples for you to try at home - love that set and the Inside the Lines Designer Paper from Sale-a-Bration. And I just might have a few sheets left so I can give you some to try your own designs - just mention you saw this comment on my blog next time you are at one of my events!
So many awesome card ideas for this set - don't forget to pick it up before the end of May so you get the bundled pricing - it will be in the new catalogue releasing June 1st, but not as a bundled set.

The background for the bees below was made by swiping my So Saffron ink pad over some small bubble wrap - makes a really neat background for the bees. Then I added some "Gorgeous Grunge" splotches in Crushed Curry and Basic Grey - this stamp set is retiring so order it before May 22nd so you know you will have it! For sure it is staying in my personal collection - it's so versatile! This card is all about the stamping - no Big Shot or other tools needed - sometimes "simple" cards make a big impact!
Here's another example of using the Dragonfly Dreams set - and some fun sponging on the Inside the Lines DSP. I can set up a special fun time for you and your friends to enjoy some stamping, make a few cards and share lots of laughs as you craft together - let me know what times work best and it's a date!
Until next time when I do some more catching up - Happy Stamping!
